Jessica Chastain & Naomi Watts in Armani Prive at the Cafe Society 69th Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Jessica Chastain and Naomi Watts jetted off to Cannes, France to attend the Cafe Society premiere and the opening of the 69th Cannes Film Festival this evening. Both ladies wore ARMANI PRIVE.

Jessica Chastain could not be missed in a vibrant yellow strapless silk-chiffon gown with a pleated with a draped train detail in the back. Yellow is one of my favorite colors so I do like that about it but it feels like we have seen something like this before from Versace. This was a much better look than her Lincoln Center Gala look. She dressed up her gown with a statement necklace courtesy of PIAGET. CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA heels, a side parted wavy bob and pink lips finished up her look.

Naomi Watts wore a strapless lilac embellished column gown. Adding more sparkle to her look, she accessorized with a BULGARI colorful tone statement necklace. Love the color and the sleek, elegant fit of the gown on her. However a complimentary up-do would have been ideal. A berry lip topped off her look.

Who's Armani look do you favor?

  1. Jessica looks lovely in yellow but this is a standard strapless look we've seen million of times from her in black, gold etc.. Naomi is also lovely, the statement necklace is beautiful, the gown is nice but boring. Both fail to excite or dramatic and memorable enough for the opening.

    1. ...and it's once again the same formula for Naomi - strapless column gown and necklace although I do like the look, it's nice and pretty.

  2. The yellow look is dated to death. Everybody has been doing this dress for the last decade. Although it is a beautiful colour it was a big disappointment for me.
I love the lilac one. This picture doesn't do much justice for the look, me thinks... Love the necklace as well.

  3. Naomi got the better dress.

  4. Both of them look gorgeous. Jessica's dress looks great on her and fits her to perfection but I somehow expected much more from her on opening night. Naomi is a pro at Cannes - she knows what works and she does it well.
