Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace at the 2016 MET Gala

Kate Hudson hasn't had the best year style wise but that may have changed today. She hit the carpet at the 2016 MET Gala, Manus X Machina-Fashion in an Age of Technology at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

She wore a custom ATELIER VERSACE white strapless sheer panel cut-out gown with studded leather layers, a ruffle panel and a center front split pleated tulle hem. I really love this, it touches on the theme of the night with a sultry appeal.

Kate is wearing GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI silver metallic peep-toe platform pumps but I wish she opted for a simple strappy sandal. However they are not visible and it doesn't hurt her look. Center part off-the-shoulder light waves and statement rings topped off her look.

  1. It's definitely INTERESTING and NOT BORING, but this is so ugly.

  3. I also like this. The armour like bodice is interesting and a bit sci-fi, Barbarella esque. Finally something related to the event.

  4. The gown is sharp, creative and works perfectly on her, just wish the hairstyle was sharp and on par as well, instead of plain soft waves, to complete this on-theme look properly.

  5. I like this quite a bit. There is a lot of detailing and design to keep it interesting. And its very flattering on her. I wish she had done something more with her hair and make-up. The beach waves don't go with that look.
