Kirsten Dunst in Maison Margiela Couture at The Neon Demon 69th Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Following her attendance at the amFar Gala, Kirsten Dunst hit the red carpet at The Neon Demon premiere during the 69th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

The actress & Cannes juror stood out in a custom MAISON MARGIELA COUTURE by JOHN GALLIANO marigold satin and tulle overlay gown with contrasting black printed leaves at the hem.

My issue here is the fabric and the fact that this bias cut gown is bubbling and pulling on the sides which takes away from the appeal of her dress. Love the marigold color which seems to be the color of choice these days but I am not sold on the quality of it. Does Kirsten's look work for you?

  1. I love that she is giving us a bright colour, and the idea of the gown is nice and pretty with some interesting elements, but it does look a bit cheap.

  3. It is a pretty gown, especially the lower part of it and the color is great. But the fabric is pulling at the bias cuts. Over all, she looks great. She has been great at Cannes this year - she surprised me.
