Poppy Delevingne in Marchesa at the 2016 MET Gala

Poppy Delevingne hit the red carpet this evening at the 2016 MET Gala, themed the Manus X Machina-Fashion in an Age of Technology at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

For the  occasion, she wore a MARCHESA FALL 2016 sleeveless silver heavily jeweled embellished sheer illusion fringe dress. The is a combination of fashion meets technology and I think Poppy hit the mark.

She vamped up her look with a dark manicure & a red lip offset with a smokey eye. The only think I would change is here is the hairstyle. Something off-the-shoulder like the model on the runway would have been ideal but that doesn't hurt her look. A silver clutch and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals topped off her look. Are you feeling Poppy's look?

  2. I am not feeling this at all, sorry. She has the fashion world at her feet and she goes for Marchesa which actually is pretty commercial stuff, not artsy enough for the MET . Besides, there are plenty of excellent British real designers out there and she goes for these 2 who normally carbon copy other people's designs. Fail. Besides that I don't like the dress itself. We have seen hundreds like that.

  3. This is pretty but feels more vintage than futuristic!
