4th Edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival - Women In Cinema Gala

Following the opening ceremony, Emily Blunt, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Eva Longoria and more attended the Women In Cinema gala during the 4th Edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival on Friday(December 6th) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Cynthia Erivo wore a bold printed gown from the VALENTINO RESORT 2025 collection. The green printed gown looked great on her and the jewelry along with her edgy nails helped to elevate her look. My only quibble is that the gown is a little too long at the hem. Also, I wish that she wore a sold waist sash like in the look book instead of the matching one.

'Red One' NY Premiere

Continuing on the promo tour, the cast of ''Red One'' attended another premiere for film which was held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York on Monday(November 11th). 

Lucy Liu made a shiny entrance, wearing a gold gown from the MARCHESA FALL 2024 collection. The gown is too long on Lucy and it probably should have been shorten so that it had the high-low effect like it does on the model. Also, that sheer nude panel on the neckline is bothering me. It looks longer on Lucy and shorter on the model. I think this gown was more effective on the model.

‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ NY Premiere

On Thursday(March 14th) the premiere of ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ was held at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York.

Mckenna Grace wore a MARCHESA FALL 2024 red strapless gown with a slit detail. I love the gown, but she definitely needed to wear a red or metallic ankle strap sandal.

Dominique Fishback in Marchesa at the ''Transformers Rise of the Beasts'' London Premiere

Continuing on the promo tour, Dominique Fishback hit the red carpet in London for the premiere of 'Transformers: Rise of The Beasts'', which was held at Cineworld Leicester Square.

Dominique's style can be a hit or miss but while this wasn't a bad look, there were some quibbles with this MARCHESA FALL 2022 black gown. I wish that the pleated panel on the shoulders sat on her the same way that it did on the model. 

Also, I feel like the top should have been fitted on the waist or probably belted. I don't really care for the sheer panel on the neckline but you can clearly see that it was definitely needed. A complimentary beauty look finished up her look. What do you think of Dominique's look?

There were several movie premiere's yesterday evening(December 12th) in LA and 'Sing 2' was one of them, held at The Greek Theater.

Scarlett Johansson hit the carpet in a MARKARIAN SPRING 2021 ''Hawthorn'' strapless floral appliqué mini dress, accessorized with CANDY ICE jewelry. On this occasion, I am not loving the silver belt or the AQUAZZURA sandals with this dress. Don't get me wrong though, those sandals are fire but I feel like she should have gone with a color from her dress.

Instagram Style: Jo Ellen Pellman in Marchesa at the 2021 Hollywood Critics Association

Following her virtual attendance at the Globes, Jo Ellen Pellman virtually attended the 2021 Hollywood Critics Association awards and she posted her look to instagram. 

She posed for the gram in a MARCHESA FALL 2020 burgundy velvet embellished, peplum top and the matching burgundy velvet, ankle length pants. Love this rich velvet hue and virtual or not, this was perfect for the occasion.

Marsai Martin in Marchesa Notte at the 51ST NAACP Image Awards Nominations Announcement

Following her attendance at the ABC press tour, Marsai Martin was on hand for the 51ST NAACP Image Awards Nominations Announcement this morning(January 9th) at the SLS Hotel in LA. 

The young starlet struck a pose in a MARCHESA NOTTE PRE-FALL 2020 floral and lace panel, collared midi dress which was gathered at the waist. This has a spring vibe to it but I still like it. Sometimes her looks tend to be on the mature side and this hits that line.

However I would swap out the black CHLOE GOSSELIN sandals for a nude, pink or yellow hue and her braids pulled down, in a side parted swoop for a more youthful feel. What do you think of Marsai's look?

Following Day 1, Day 2 of the 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place on yesterday(September 15th) at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

Lavern Cox gave us a dramatic moment, wearing a ZAC POSEN FALL 2019 black strapless, clock draped gown, with waves of ruffles swirling around this dress in tiers of origami layers. If this looks familiar, that's because Deepika Padukone wore it in pink at the MET gala. This is a refreshing change from her usually fitted dresses, she looks beyond gorgeous here. On Friday(September 13th) Priyanka Chopra made her way to the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival red carpet for the premiere of her new film 'The Sky Is Pink' in Toronto, Canada.

For the occasion, she chose a gown from the MARCHESA FALL 2019 collection. Her FALL 2019 black & white strapless floral silk gown, was down in tiers of origami-inspired ruffles and a large bow in the back.

Yesterday evening(August 6th) Tiffany Haddish, Melissa McCarthy, Elisabeth Moss and Maddie Hasson hit the black carpet for the premiere of Warner Bros Pictures' 'The Kitchen' at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Tiffany Haddish wore the GALIA LAHAV 'Belinda' black draped silk, stretch satin dress, with structured shoulder pads and parachute sleeves. The deep v-neck adds a flirty touch, which drops into dramatic cascading ruffles. This a sexy number and I though Tiffany looked great. However I would swap out those boring black pumps which got lost in the carpet, for a ankle strap sandal.

On Friday(March 1st) Catherine Zeta-Jones posed on the red carpet with her son and daughter Carys Zeta Douglas at the 109 Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama Gala at The Rainbow Room in New York City. Catherine and Carys were wearing MARCHESA. 

Catherine Zeta-Jones wore a PRE-FALL 2018 velvet off-the-shoulder gown, which she accessorized with JACOB & CO jewelry and CHLOE GOSSELIN sandals. If this looks familiar, that's because Cindy Crawford wore it in black in December 2018. However I prefer Catherine's rich burgundy hue. 

Carys Zeta Douglas wore a RESORT 2018 burgundy floral & blush pink, off-the-shoulder gown, featuring an contrasting velvet waistband. I love how Catherine & Carys gowns coordinates together. A matching TYLER ELLIS clutch finished up her look. Both mother & daughter looked lovely.

Well Priyanka Chopra is kicking off her wedding celebration as she was seen arriving for her bridal shower at Tiffany & Co last night(October 28th) in New York.

Kate Beckinsale has been making her rounds during fashion week in New York and last night(September 12th) she hosted the Tea Party After Dark Event. 

When it comes to MARCHESA dresses & gowns, there is almost always lots of tulle, organza and/or florals which is why I knew who Kate was wearing when I saw her. Her black strapless, cascading ruffle peplum tulle gown, featured floral embroidery, a cinched waist and a white bow in the back.

For me, I actually prefer this on the model. It just looks more elegant and appealing versus droopy & lifeless on Kate. Rocking her signature wavy ponytail, she finished up with a glossy pink lip and black peep-toe pumps. Are you feeling Kate's Marchesa look?

The actress opted for a gown from the NOTTE collection which is the moderately price second line of the fashion house. Her FALL 2018 rich burgundy embellished layered tulle halter gown with contrasting velvet crisscross straps. A key hole bodice was added to Alyssa's gown which added a sultry vibe to her elegant look. She finished up with a complimentary up-do, BORGIONI, AS29 & EFFY jewelry and a matching TYLER ELLIS clutch. 

Chloe Bridges wore a see-through green beaded embroidered LEILOU SPRING 2018 puffy three-quarter sleeve dress, featuring a wide v-neckline and white briefs underneath for coverage. Chloe dressed down her dress by teaming it with white VANS sneakers. She also ditched the belt which was shown with the dress on the runway which she did not need.
