2016 CFDA Fashion Awards Wrap-up

Yesterday evening(June 6th) the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. To see all of the pink carpet looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Naomi Campbell wore a simple BRANDON MAXWELL FALL 2016 black halter floor length dress with cut-out sides. I just love how she is selling this simplistic look in a elegant, sultry way. A side swept long braid with bangs and diamond bracelets topped off her look. 

Karlie Kloss wore a white studded ROSIE ASSOULIN dress with a front & black bow & cut-out detail, a peplum detail and a flare skirt. Love the dress but not those pink sequin pumps. 

Sarah Paulson gave us the first unreleased look from the ALTUZARRA RESORT 2017 collection. Her sleeveless red & black beaded dress is cute but once again she wore her favorite black pumps which doesn't work here.

Joan Smalls wore a GIVENCHY SPRING 2016 COUTURE nude pleated off-the-shoulder dress with contrasting snake embossed trims and a cut-out waist. Beauty wise, she topped off her look with a colored lip and a wavy cut with bangs. 

Jillian Hervey who is the newest face of Pantene, wore a ADAM SELMAN SPRING 2016 colorful sheer floral embroidered floor length dress with a center front split detail. This look suits her overall style. 

Jourdan Dunn showed some skin in a beaded JONATHAN SIMKHAI floor length halter dress with a cut-out v-neckline and open-back. I can't say that I like the nude underwear that is showing but she is working this dress.

Heidi Klum wore a ROLAND MOURET one-shoulder color-block floor long dress with a side split detail. The dress is a signature of the designer but I don't favor the look of the skirt on her. LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry and black sandals completed her look. 

America Ferrera wore a KATE SPADE NEW YORK custom silk chiffon embellished gown and  the cedar street cali bag in black. America was another elegant beauty.

Olivia Culpo also wore a KATE SPADE NEW YORK look which featured the black Madison Ave. Collection Valerie blazer, the priscilla heels in black and the cedar street cali bag.

Christina Ricci wore  a COACH FALL 2016 black long sleeve shirtdress with gold trimming which she styled with black & gold chunky heel sandals. 

Alessandra Ambrosio wore a cute purple one-shoulder side split dress from MICHAEL KORS. Surprisingly she isn't wearing anything sheer or cut-out but I do like this. 

Riley Keough wore a PROENZA SCHOULER FALL 2016 black & white printed dress styled simple with black sandals. A bold colored lip gave her look a standout appeal. 

Irina Shayk wore a vibrant red MISHA NONOO halter jumpsuit with a crisscross tieneck and wide legs. I don't care for the hair or make-up but love the jumpsuit. 

Ashley Graham kept it simple in a black MICHAEL KORS halter dress with knot & split detail. Love Ashley and she looks beautiful but it doesn't excite like how I know she can do. STUART WEITZMAN 'Nudist' 

Emily Ratajkoski wore a black JASON WU silk floor length slip dress with frayed ends. A red clutch, smokey eyes and complimentary up-do completed her look. 

Zosia Mamet wore a MAIYET FALL 2016 black floor length dress with sheer long sleeves and a low scoop neckline. The actress added a 70's vibe to her look via the GIGI BURRIS MILLINERY custom '70s-inspired Swarovski-studded headscarf.  

Jamie Chung wore a red BANANA REPUBLIC halter dress with a split detail and a contrasting pink tie neck and a long key hole opening.

Adriana Lima wore a MARC JACOBS FALL 2016 ensemble which featured a silver & black beaded crop jacket and black drawstring waist trousers. This totally out of her style comfort zone which h I can appreciate her for doing but the fit doesn't work for me.
