Before she walked away a winner for her role in the hit play 'Hamilton', Renee Elise Goldsberry posed on the red carpet for the 70th Annual Tony Awards at The Beacon Theatre in New York.
For the red carpet, she wore a MARC JACOBSS FALL 2016 purple and black long sleeve stripe v-neck dress with a short train detail and a ruffle sequin beaded bodice. I can't say that I love this dress on Renee or even the runway but kudos to her for taking a fashion risk. The dress mainly looks unflattering on the waist. A ponytail, berry lips and statement jewelry topped off her look.
Later on she changed into a OSCAR DE LA RENTA RESORT 2017 strapless yellow and black beaded floral gown with a train & slight hi lo hem detail. The actress kept her the same beauty look from the red carpet but I wish she wore different shoes over her black pumps. A ankle strap sandal would have been ideal here.
The Oscar dress was easily my favorite here, which was your's?
