2016 Teen Choice Awards

The 2016 Teen Choice Awards took place yesterday evening(July 31st) and the event was held at The Forum in Inglewood, CA.

Jessica Alba wore a DAVID KOMA FALL 2016 black ensemble which featured a long sleeve mesh panel crop top with an scalloped hem and black trousers. Jessica looked cute but I kinda wish she wore sandals over her KURT GEIGE pumps. An M2MALLETIER clutch and center part straight tresses finished up her look. 

Sarah Hyland wore a J. MENDEL FALL 2016 cobalt blue & red printed knee length dress with a v-neckline and a faux wrap skirt. Sarah's exact dress wasn't featured in the collection but I do like it. However I find it to be a tad tight. A RODO clutch, STUART WEITZMAN sandals, smokey eyes and side swept waves finished up her look. 

Rowan Blanchard wore a MIU MIU FALL 2016 denim & black panel long belted coat with a white shirt dress underneath. She was one of my favorites in this cute ensemble which was topped off with pink bejeweled pumps.  

Gina Rodriguez wore a CIELO BRANDS black suit with an white button down shirt adorned with a polka dot tie underneath. I kinda thought this look was a tad serious for the fun event but I do like it. Also the hair could have been sleeker & behind-the-ear. A black EDIE PARKER clutch & STUART WEITZMAN sandals finished up her look. 

Keke Palmer strolled into the 70's wearing a THE BLONDS FALL 2016 black & gold sequin stripe halter jumpsuit with a plunging neckline. Two things turned me off from this look, the choker & the black suede platform pumps.    

Victoria Justice who was the events host, looked great in head to toe VERSACE SPRING 2016 which featured a sleeveless cut-out & tie detail mini dress and black platform sandals.  

Lucy Hale looked great as well in a AZZARO SPRING 2016 COUTURE beaded sheer floral halter dress styled with an JIMMY CHOO clutch and the STAURT WEITZMAN 'Nudist' sandals.  

Lea Michele ditched her overly sultry look for a SELF-PORTRAIT guipure embroidered crop top and a guipure lace & leaf embroidered midi skirt which she styled with CASADEI heels.   

Shay Mitchell shimmered in a JUST CAVALLI FALL 2016 gold long sleeve sequin beaded mini dress styled with GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals and a EDIE PARKER clutch.

Chanel Iman wore a DENISSE M VERA ivory ensemble which featured the 'Maze' braided crochet crop top and the 'Epicure' silk side split floor length skirt. I kinda feel like we have seen Chanel in a style like this before but she still looks cute JIMMY CHOO sandals and side parted waves finished up her look.

Ashley Benson wore a MICHAEL KORS FALL 2016 sleeveless silver beaded jacquard mini dress and silver sandals.  I wouldn't have mind a colored lip but she looks nice. JENNIFER MEYER jewelry and straight behind-the-ear tresses.

Kelsea Ballerini wore a CYNTHIA ROWLEY strapless jacquard dress with she stalled with a gold & white box clutch and gold gladiator heels. The young starlet was one of my favs in this chic look.

Kat Graham wore a colorful printed ROBERTO CAVALLI dress which she accessorized with a silver camera bag, SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals and jewelry. I don't think the hair compliments her cute dress and a colored lip wouldn't have hurt but a nice look nonetheless. 

Laverne Cox wore a black long sleeve MICHAEL COSTELLO deep-v jumpsuit which was adorned with a gold chain belt. My issue with Laverne's look all the time is her shoe choice. I don't like the black pumps, sandals would have been better. Also love Laverne but her when she poses like this, it hurts her look. 

Katherine McNamara wore a CHRISTIAN SIRIANO RESORT 2017 strapless pink floral embroidered calf length dress with a side front split detail. ALEXANDER BIRMAN knot detail sandals, center part waves and a pink lip color finished up her look.
