Salma Hayek in Gucci at the 2016 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Salam Hayek has access to some of fashion's top brands but her red carpet looks still can be a hit or miss. She was on hand last night(October 29th) for the 2016 LACMA Art + Film Gala Honoring Robert Irwin & Kathryn Bigelow and presented by Gucci at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in LA.

She hit the green carpet in a GUCCI SPRING 2017 long sleeve sheer black tulle floor length dress with velvet panels, a rose & lizard beaded bodice, a silver beaded bow waist and a tiger beaded embroidered back motif. Salma altered her dress from the runway version which featured a different beaded motif on the bodice.

I have two issues with Salma's look and the first is the nude underlining. While it works under the skirt, it doesn't under the bodice. She should have just went with black or wore something else. My second issue is the make-up, it just doesn't look good. This look is a miss for me. Are you feeling Salma's altered version of the dress?
