Salma Hayek in Alexander McQueen at the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Party

On Thursday(May 15th) Salma Hayek hit the carpet for the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue party which was held at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City.

We all know Salma has access to some of the biggest fashion brands, but when it comes to her style, she doesn't always hit the mark. On this occasion, she chose a dress from the ALEXANDER MCQUEEN FALL 2025 collection which she accessorized with MAISON H jewelry. 

I have to admit, the dress actually looks much better on Salma than it did on the model. The lining of the bodice worked in her favor, but I'm not loving the skirt. The dress in general is a bit over-designed. What do you think of Salma's look?

Viola Davis re-wore a custom GUCCI black sequin cape dress that she wore to the LACAMA and she looked fantastic as always. 

Cara Delevingne looked gorgeous in a silver sequin halter dress by GUCCI. It was simple shiny look that looked pretty.

Following their attendance at another premiere, Eva Green, Eva Longoria, and more attended the ‘Emilia Perez’ premiere on Saturday(May 18th) during the 77th Cannes Film Festival in France. 

Zoe Saldana also wore custom SAINT LAURENT and her dress is based off of a design from the label's SPRING 1986 COUTURE collection. This is not so bad, I just don't think the second bow was needed.

Salma Hayek in Balenciaga at the 60th Venice Biennale Art Exhibition

Salma Hayek has immediate access to some of the top fashion brands in the industry but I feel like her styles continues to struggle. On Wednesday(April 17th) she attended the ''Fondazione Cini, Isola Di San Giorgio'' dinner gala during the 60th Biennale Art Exhibition at Fondazione Cini in Venice, Italy.

For the occasion, she chose a blue strapless, sequin dress by BALENCIAGA. The skirt featured a playful, fringe hem. I feel like this had potential to work, but with the majority of her red carpet looks, it missed the mark. 

It's no doubt that Salma is one of the most beautiful woman, but her style doesn't measure up. Love the color but the fit is just bad on her. Her breasts are literally fighting for freedom. Then to top off her look, she wore heavy black platform sandals which doesn't pair nicely with this sexy dress. 

Simple silver metallic, ankle strap sandals would have been a better shoe choice. Love me some Salma, but this look is a no for me. She finished up with BOUCHERON jewelry and a berry like lip color. What are your thoughts on Salma's look?

Salma Hayek in Standing Ground at ''The Flavor of Christmas'' 48th Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

On Wednesday(September 13th) Salma Hayek returned the red carpet for the premiere of ''The Flavor of Christmas'' during the 48th Toronto International Film Festival at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, Ontario.

For the most part, you can almost always catch Salma in Gucci or McQueen on the carpet but this time, she shook things up by wearing STANDING GROUND. Her white custom dress featured a draped panel across the bodice that flowed into a train in the back. 

This fit her perfectly but I think that BOTTEGA VENETA clutch is a little too big with this dress. Also, her black platform heels are too heavy but thankfully they are not the visible. Quibbles aside, I still thought she looked gorgeous. What do you think of Salma's look?

Following the Chopard event and her previous outing, Naomi Campbell, Cate Blanchett and more attended the ''Killers of The Flower Moon'' premiere this evening(May 20th) during the 76th Cannes film festival at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. 

Salma Hayek's style can be a hit or miss but on this occasion, I am loving her in this ALEXANDER MCQUEEN FALL 2023 gown. The plum hue is my favorite and the fit on her is on point. Also, I don't mind the sheer panel on the neckline because it added coverage.

Making their way to the red carpet for another awards show, Shania Twain, Harry Styles, Sam Smith, Kim Petras and more attended the 2023 BRIT Awards which was at The O2 Arena yesterday evening(February 11th in London.

Jodie Turner-Smith was a disco queen wearing this ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2023 COUTURE metallic gold, one long sleeve cutout dress. I can't say that I am loving the cutouts but she sells it, especially with that chic afro. However I don't think the necklace was needed.

Salma Hayek is back on the promo scene for ''Puss In Boots: The Last Wish'' and yesterday evening(December 13th) she attended the premiere at Jazz, Lincoln Centre in New York.

For me, I think this gown including Salma's edit version should stay in the ALEXANDER MCQUEEN RESORT 2023 look book. The hem on the look book version is wonky and Salam's version looks like a sexy, Disney costume.

There is a lot of cleavage on display but I do like the design of the top. However, I am not feeling the overall quality of this gown. What do you think of Salma's look?

Salma Hayek on the other hand is still struggling with her style. The top looks extremely tight on the bust and the platform pumps with those nude stocks are annoying. Her head styling is on point though.

Following the Lacma gala, Jared Leto, Salma Hayek and more attended the premiere of ''House of Gucci'' this evening(November 9th) in London. The guests were wearing GUCCI unless otherwise stated. 

Jared Leto never disappoints whether you like his style or not. I thought he looked so good in the turquoise velvet suit and is carrying the heart clutch. Loved the color as well but those pants needed to be hemmed. 

Salma Hayek wore a gold pleated lame dress which she looked great in and the necklace is quite charming. However I dislike those sleeves. This should have been sleeveless but the entire bodice is doing her no favors, it looks so boxy on her in some images.

Adam Driver is a brand ambassador for BURBERRY so I am not surprised that he chose to wear the brand instead of Gucci. However you would have thought since he is playing the main character, that he would wear Gucci. Anyway he looks okay.

Following the Rome photocall, the cast and more attended the Marvel Studios ''Eternals'' premiere this evening(October 27th) in London at the BFI IMAX Waterloo. 

Angela Jolie wore a custom VALENTINO COUTURE classic ensemble but it's not working for me. The way the shirt is hanging over the skirt is so unflattering but in general, I don't think the pieces came together in a good way. 

Salma Hayek wore a red sequin stripe, cutout one long sleeve dress by SAINT LAURENT. I just don't understand how she has so much access to the best brands but her looks never standout. This dress is just unflattering.

Salma Hayek in Elie Saab on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Salma Hayek is beautiful no doubt but when it comes down to her style, it's a hit or miss. She was spotted arriving for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on yesterday(October 14th) to promote ''Eternals.''

She stepped out in a leopard ELIE SAAB PRE-FALL 2021 suit with a sheer black, tie-neck blouse underneath. Love the suit and I feel like it was a great choice but those pants needed to be hemmed and her hair completely off-the-shoulders. 

Overall this is not a bad look but it is not her best. I still feel like style doesn't hit the right mark regardless of the pieces that she wears. She beautiful but her style needs a new direction. What do you think of Salma's look?
