Aja Naomi King in Roland Mouret at the GQ 2016 Men of The Year Party

Last night(December 8th) Aja Naomi King hit the black carpet at the GQ 2016 Men of The Year party at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, CA.

She stepped out in a ROLAND MOURET FALL 2016 black & white one-shoulder honeycomb panel ankle length dress. On the runway, the dress was shorter and it was layered with a black honeycomb turtleneck which she left out.

I thought the dress looked great on Aja and with this length, a simple black pump was ideal even though it got lost in the carpet. RANDALL SCOTT fine jewelry, a center part ponytail and a red lip finished up her look. Do you like the way Aja rocked this dress or do you prefer the runway's presentation?

  1. She should've worn white or black/white shoes. I like this ankles up

  2. Her posing is a bit stiff in this photo, but I much prefer her version of the dress - it's sharper and more chic minimalist w/o the distracting turtleneck and sleeve that overload the dress rather than complete it.
