Amy Adams in Marchesa at the 2017 National Board of Review Gala

Following her attendance at the Palm Springs Film Festival awards, Amy Adams jetted here to New York for the 2017 National Board of Review Gala yesterday evening(January 4th) at Cipriani 42nd Street.

She hit the black carpet in an all black look which featured a MARCHESA PRE-FALL 2017 lace embroidered dress with satin bell sleeves & a key-hole tie neck and JIMMY CHOO sandals.

Beauty wise, she went with side parted straight off-the-shoulder tresses and minimal make-up. This sophisticated, feminine cocktail dress suits Amy's style. However I like the look of the dress on the model. CARTIER jewelry finished up her look. Did Amy win you over with this all black look?

  1. It is Ok, considering it is Marchesa and lace. But it looks so much better on the model. I know there is a holy lot of production for the look book's picture but this lost part of its appeal on Ammy. I'm unsure if it has to do with the lenght of the skirt or to my plain disdain for lace. She is rightly dressed no doubt and it is somehow differente of her " go for" style.
