Following the BAFTA party, nominee Ruth Negga hit the red carpet this evening at the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.
Making a sparkly entrance, Ruth wore a custom LOUIS VUITTON short sleeve sequin floor length dress with a center front zipper detail and belted side panels.
Sequins can be tricky to pull off especially when it is being photographed. However I liked this piece on Ruth. Beauty wise, she went with her signature short pixie and complimentary make-up. Do you think Ruth served up a winning look for her first run at the Globes?

ReplyDeleteSo my tip was completely wrong :-/. It is something completely different from what I was expecting. I had in my mind something Cate Blanchet wowza level, a real fashion moment. This is very nice, no doubt and very modern but somehow I am not wowed.

ReplyDeleteShe can work the different, even weird ensembles, and I'm glad she went for something edgy like that here, but it is a bit underwhelming.
