The Art of Elysium 2017 HEAVEN Gala Wrap-up

Last night(January 7th) The Art of Elysium Gala presents Stevie Wonder's HEAVEN & 10th Anniversary celebration took place at Red Studios in LA. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Chrissy Teigen wore a JONATHAN SIMKHAI white long sleeve sheer lace & ruffled tier gown. I like this gown on Chrissy but I wish the hair was in a more elegant style. A silver clutch and a selection of statement rings finished up her look.

Hannah Simone wore a MONIQUE LHUILLIER SPRING 2017 strapless lavender printed hi lo hem gown with a contrasting black satin tie waist detail which she wore opposite the runway version. My only quibble is that I wish she ditched her signature bangs but she does look great.

Amber Heard wore a strapless embellished J. MENDEL column dress. While I like the dress on her, I wish she went with sandals over her burgundy velvet pumps. Also I am not feeling the hair & make-up. VITA FEDE, EFFY, RACHEL KATZ & SARA WEINSTOCK jewelry finished up her look.

Ali Larter was a bit underwhelming in this black ruffled cut-out chiffon with chiffon panels. Maybe a colored lip and a more interesting pair of sandals could have helped this look.

Hailey Baldwin made an entrance in a JONATHAN SIMKHAI RESORT 2017 red beaded lace embroidered lace & feather cut-out halter gown with a thigh high-split detail. Keeping her tune with her hue of her dress, she wore matching TAMARA MELLON sandals and added a matching lip to her beauty look.

Shanola Hampton wore what seems to be her go to brand, ST. JOHN'S. Her strapless gold embellished gown looked great but I kinda wish she belted it. Love her beauty look.

Jaime King wore a color-block sequin lace ALTUZARRA RESORT 2017 slip dress which she styled with chartreuse satin ankle strap pumps. I don't like the loose fit of this dress on Jaime but mostly I don't favor that side swept ponytail.

Zelda Williams wore a sheer black & gold lace embroidered off-the-shoulder layered ankle length dress. While I like this dress on Zelda, I don't like her platform sandals with it. A simpler style would have been ideal for me.

Cara Santana wore a silver strapless MARCHESA crossover ruffled dress with a printed embroidered trimmings. A complimentary colored lip wouldn't have hurt but she looks nice for the event. A silver clutch, JIMMY CHOO sandals, off-the-shoulder tresses and minimal make-up finished up her look.

  2. I only like Jaime. Loved her shoe choice.
That orange thing on the Baldwin girl resembles one of those outfits from a Vegas casino or from the Moulin Rouge, Show Girls kind of thing. Horrid and totally over the top considering she is not even an actress.

  3. I dont like any outfit. Most of them looked cheap and not good.
