Designer Collaboration: Prabal Gurung x Lane Bryant Spring 2017 Collection

I have been working in the fashion industry for a long time and when it came down to talking about women sizes between 14-28, it was basically unheard of. Fashion week for full figured women was created and it still didn't receive any recognition. However thankfully some designers are understanding that not all women are a size 2 and that All women, no matter their size, deserves some fashion love as well. This New York fashion I was glad to see Christian Siriano, Michael Kors and Prabal Gurung include models who you won't typically see on the runway during their NY fashion week show. Which brings me to my point of Lane Bryant's newest designer collaboration with Prabal Gurung. On February 27, 2017 Prabal Gurung x Lane Bryant will launch a 22-piece women's range for sizes 14-28.

The collection was created with the idea in mind that style comes in every size and that women should not be defined by society’s notion of beauty. Prabal is joining the family of Lane Bryant designer collaborators from the past that includes Christian Siriano, Lela Rose, Sophie Theallet and Isabel Toledo. Prabal is known for his elegant, stylish pieces which are loved by many celebs including Diane Kruger, Laverne Cox, Kerry Washington, January Jones, former First Lady Michelle Obama and many more. For the collection's campaign which was shot by Inez and Vinoodh, Ashley Graham & Prabal Gurung is captured together while highlighting this great collection. The budget friendly collection ranges from $38 to $198 and again, will hit stores and LaneBryant.com on February 27th.
