Jane Fonda in Atelier Versace at the 19th Costume Designers Guild Awards

Jane Fonda continues to prove that at any age, you can still work the carpet. Yesterday evening(February 21st) she attended the 19th Costume Designers Guild Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

She hit the grey carpet in a ATELIER VERSACE FALL 2016 black satin & crepe off-the-shoulder gown with an contrasting light blue panel, bracelet length sleeves, a split detail and a draped side train panel. Starring at Jane's image, something looked odd to me and then I realized, it was the sleeve. Jane is wearing a modified version of the runway gown which only featured one sleeve.

Even though I like this gown on her, I kinda wish the left side was off-the-shoulder as well. Also I wish she switched up her posing because she did this tilted posed throughout. Keeping her signature hairstyle, she finished up her look with a pink lip, statement earrings and a ROGER VIVIER clutch. Does Jane's modified version of the gown work for you?

  1. Don't really mind the sleeve, no. It's not overwhelming, through I'd also like to see her without it. I'd also like to see her tilted to the other way, showing some leg. But it's a great look, and she looks phenomenal.
