On Saturday(January 6th) The Art of Elysium presents John Legend's HEAVEN gala & 11th Anniversary celebration took place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA.
Rooney Mara wore a semi-sheer black & white one-shoulder GIVENCHY SPRING 2018 pleated lace which she styled simply with black sandals. Her signature beauty look finished up her look.
Vanessa Hudgens stood out in a yellow ALBERTA FERRETTI FALL 2017 silk-chiffon layered cape gown. On the runway, Vanessa's gown featured a contrasting velvet floral belt which I wish she kept because it made the gown more interesting. Can't say that I am loving the eye make-up either.
Jurnee Smollett-Bell was paying homage to the #TimesUp movement wearing her black MOSCHINO beaded floor length slip dress. She vamped up her all black, sultry look with a dark oxblood lip.

Ali Larter made a shiny entrance wearing a HAMEL long sleeve silver floor length gown with deep v-neckline and sultry cutouts.

Amber Heard showed some skin wearing a GEORGES HOBEIKA FALL 2017 beaded gown with nude underlining for coverage, a deep v-neckline, a center front split and a short train detail. A red lip and up-do finished up her look.
Shailene Woodley wore a ELIE SAAB FALL 2017 black long sleeve velvet & crepe panel, ruffle & lace dress with a v-neckline. I think off-the-shoulder tresses would have been ideal but she looks nice.
Nikki Reed wore a white silk multi MONIQUE LHUILLIER PRE-FALL 2017 off-the-shoulder floral embellished gown with a self tie waist. Nikki's on trend gown was accessorized with statement earrings and a black velvet clutch.
Shanolo Hampton who was honored at the event, wore a REEM KACHMAR SPRING 2017 COUTURE light blue beaded cutout gown with a split detail. While I like the color on her, this is more suited for someone on the taller side.
Ashley Madekwe wore a RODARTE FALL 2017 silver & gold sequin calf length dress with contrasting ivory ruffled tulle panels, three-quarter sleeves and a long key-hole opening. If this looks familiar, that's because Nicole Kidman wore it at Cannes last year.
Cara Santana stoodout in a red RAMI AL ALI FALL 2016 strapless mermaid gown with tulle panel hem and train detail. A matching red lip and gold clutch finished up her look.
Chrissy Teigen was on hand of course to support hubby John Legend wearing a PAMELLA ROLAND SPRING 2018 sheer beaded, feather cape gown. A colored lip would have been nice for balance.
Mena Suvari wore a sequin TEMPERLEY LONDON SPRING 2018 duster with the matching v-neck jumpsuit. This is a tough piece for anyone to pull and I don't think it worked on Mena.
