Tessa Thompson wore a PALOMO SPRING 2026 black skirt suit. I don't think that she needed the white bow scarf on the neck, but the suit was perfect for the occasion.
Jurnee Smollett wore a LOUIS VUITTON FALL 2025 floral embellished dress. Jurnee is beautiful, this dress is not. It feels too heavy for the season and the embellishments on the was not needed.
On Wednesday(March 12th) the premiere of ''Number One on the Call Sheet'' was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.
Jurnee Smollett wore a TOVE STUDIO SPRING 2025 ivory dress with elbow length sleeves and a plunging neckline. The top half of her dress featured a gathered detail and the bottom featured a sheer, organza skirt which was shorten. I like this dress on her, but I would swap out the black pumps for a gold ankle strap sandal or pump.
Following the London premiere, another premiere for Paramount Pictures ''Gladiator II''' was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday(November 18th) in Hollywood, California.
Connie Nielsen wore another custom dress by DEL CORE, this time opting for a black semi-sheer pleated piece with a strapless romper underneath for coverage. I kinda wish this was fully lined, but she still looked great.
Jurnee Smollett wore a LOUIS VUITTON printed slip dress with a sheer overlay. Despite the creases and the fit of the top, this is a cute piece in theory.
On Saturday(October 5th) the 2024 Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic took place at the Will Rogers State Historic Park in Pacific Palisades, California.
Quinta Brunson wore a ANTONIO MARRAS plaid skirt suit with coordinating LE SILLA pumps. I like the idea of this look, but the fit of the jacket looks off.
Charles Melton wore a SAINT LAURENT shirt, and EVAN KINORI pants with BODE shoes. I wish the pants were longer and I am not feeling the shoes. But it's an easy, light look suited for the occasion.

Nicholas Hoult went the classic route, opting for a RALPH LAUREN tuxedo which was accessorized with RETORUVAI jewelry and SANTONI shoes.

Camila Cabello wore a Vintage JOHN GALLIANO and this would have been great if it was in a different color. Also, those mules don't work with it.
On Thursday(January 26th) Jurnee Smollett hit the carpet for Hulu's ''The 1619 Project'' premiere at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA.
Within the past few years, Jurnee's style has elevated to new heights and she has done nothing but serve up some great looks. I am not 100% sold on the design of this VERA WANG SPRING 2023 black crepe & satin mini dress but it looked great on Jurnee.
The vibrant red lip and the LE SILLA thigh-high boots helped to elevate it. EFFY & KALLATI jewelry and center part tresses put the finishing touches on her look.

There was a time when we didn't see much looks by Jurnee before the pandemic but after, you can see her style evolving. For her appearance, she went the masculine inspired route, rocking a ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER FALL 2022 COUTURE cobalt blue Bermuda shorts suit with a chenille turtleneck and crystal sandals.
The big, padded shoulders looks weird and boxy but Jurnee manages to pull if off. Her overall look was chic and edgy, with a fresh ode to the business suit. Are you feeling Jurnee's look as well?

Yesterday evening(August 10th) in LA, the Netflix world premiere of 'Day Shift' took place at Regal LA Live with the cast and more in attendance.
Jurnee Smollett stepped out wearing a LOUIS VUITTON SPRING 2022 mini dress, accessorized with SARA WEINSTOCK, DENA KEMP, STEFERE & DAVID YURMAN jewelry and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps. This dress probably shouldn't be working on her but it is. She ditched the full lining and on this occasion, I am glad that she did. The dress sells more without it and she looked good.
Jurnee Smollett, Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry attended the Netflix premiere of "Spiderhead' at the Paris Theater on yesterday(June 15th) in New York City.
Jurnee Smollett turned to what has become her go to designer, ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER. Her FALL 2022 red crystal embellished dress featured flirty slashed sides and a handkerchief hem. Her dress was accessorized with DE BEERS jewelry and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps. I feel like instead of black pumps, she should have gone with metallic or coordinating red sandals. But in general, this dress looked great on her.
I really love this red MAGDA BUTRYM PRE-FALL 2021 red denim jacket and matching pants. I like the white pumps with this and the CHRISTIAN DIOR bag is not a bag look either. I just wished they matched because the different hues aren't working for me.
Following the Academy opening gala, Jurnee Smollett jetted off to Paris for the Dior Spa opening and her stylist Alexandra Mandelkorn posted her look on instagram.
Wearing CHRISTIAN DIOR of course, she wore a RESORT 2022 black and ivory printed shirtdress which was belted at the waist and adorned with a studded harness. I know some people don't like harnesses but on this occasion, I like it.
It adds an grunge like touch to this sophisticated dress but I kinda wish she wore the belt from the runway as well. Nonetheless, I like her look. She finished up her look with DIOR accessories and a simple but flawless makeup look.
Following the MTV awards, Jurnee Smollett attended the FYC ''Lovecraft Country'' Drive-in Screening last night(May 18th) and she along with her stylist Alexandra Mandelkorn posted her look on instagram.
She struck a pose for the gram wearing another VALENTINO FALL 2021 ensemble which was accessorized with LANA, CATHY WATERMAN & NOUVEL HERITAGE jewelry and LE SILLA thigh-high boots. It's kinda bugging me that the skirt is not white like the shirt & the boots but she is selling the look as is.
Also I like how the pieces were merged together, straying away from how it was styled on the runway, giving the jacket, shirt & skirt a different take on styling. Overall, I like this and the concept of the styling came together in a chic way. Some may like it, some may not but I think her stylist has been really hitting all the right marks with her style. Jurnee Smollett was easily my favorite wearing her second ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER SPRING 2021 COUTURE look within a week. She was head to toe in a look from the designer which featured a teal satin cutout jumpsuit & booties. Let's be real here, the side draping is not attractive but she made this 80's inspired look work with ease, I love it. The color is easily the star here and I don't know if she was standing up in the ride to the red carpet or if her look was steamed again when she arrived but I was amazed that there weren't any creases or wrinkles in sight. Angela Bassett wore a custom ALBERTA FERRETTI custom red crepe off the shoulder gown with draped organza shoulders and a train in the back. Love the color and the over-sized shoulders & train adds drama. She looked beautiful as always. CHOPARD jewelry, a JUDITH LEIBER clutch and CASADEI sandals finished up her look.
