2018 MET Gala Men

The men came through with some style for yesterday evening(May 7th) at the 2018 MET Gala, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Jared Leto of course wore a head to toe look by GUCCI. Channeling Jesus, he wore a custom silk moiré one button jacket with a velvet oversized lapel embroidered with three eyed golden angels, silk trousers, silk shirt with bow, embroidered liturgical stole and black leather Horsebit boots. He completed his look with an aged gold metal crown and two tiger head brooches in aged gold metal, enamels and crystals.

Chadwick Boseman was easily my best dressed man of the night wearing a custom ATELIER VERSACE white, custom-made, tuxedo with gold beading with and matching bejeweled cross cape. His look was accessorized with a selection of BULGARI rings and a pair of badass CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN gold metallic loafers. Fellas take notes because this look is rightfully fit for the king. Also be sure to check out his hairstyle video, Saisha Beecham which shows his hair & bread sparkling. Just simply amazing.

Nick Jonas rocked an all black look courtesy of DOLCE & GABBANA. His Alta Satoria single-breasted shawl lapel tuxedo in black silk brocade with 24k gold thread and hand-top-stitching. His look was teamed simply with a cross necklace and black loafers which topped off his look.

Daniel Kaluuya wore a mercurio grey kid mohair tuxedo with satin notch lapel and an ivory popline smoking shirt. While Daniel did look sharp, I feel like if he added a cross necklace like Nick did, his look could have touched on the theme more.

Donald Glover who had a big weekend hosting SNL and releasing an iconic video, wore head to toe GUCCI. He wore a wool one button heritage tuxedo with grosgrain lapel and golden eye embroidery with a ruffle pleated evening shirt, grosgrain bowtie, and fringe loafers with Horsebit detail. The theme is missing here also but he does look good.

Michael B Jordan looked fresh as can be wearing a OFF-WHITE SPRING 2018 two-piece stripe suit with a black button down shirt underneath. The side tie detail & orange cuff panel gave his look a standout appeal. His suit was adorned with a cross brooch which touched on the gala's theme.

Migos(TakeOff, Quavo & OffSet) came through dripping in custom made ATELIER VERSACE  Madonne and Amore e Psiche print and crystal embellished suits which they accessorized with sparkly rings and loafers. I love the fact that Quavo work those red velvet loafers with his suit but they looked great.
