Following her attendance at a premiere, Cate Blanchett attended the 71st Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony this evening(May 19th) in Cannes, France.
Bows has been a trend on the red carpet with celebs so this ALEXANDER MCQUEEN creation is no surprise. She is wearing a FALL 2018 black double breasted tuxedo dress with a contrasting red satin bustier bodice, a center front split and a over-sized bow in the back.
The dress appeared on the runway in a shorter version but the longer version worked on Cate & for the occasion. Accessorized with red beaded earrings, she finished up with minimal make-up and center part medium waves. This dress is right up Cate's style alley and I like it on her.
