Before she performed at the event, Kelly Clarkson posed on the blue carpet yesterday evening(August 28th) at the 2018 U.S. Open Tennis Championships at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York.
Trying her hand at BALMAIN again, she wore a PRE-FALL 2018 black & white zigzag stripe sweater dress, featuring a turtleneck and padded shoulders. It wasn't humid but it was really hot in NY today even with the little breeze and when the sun went down. This is why I don't get this look. I am hot just looking at her.
The sweater dress looks great on her but the boots, even if it was fall/winter, doesn't look great with this dress. She should have gone with solid black boots, something that wasn't focus pulling. Also an off-the-shoulder hairstyle would have been ideal to compliment the neckline & shoulders. With that said, styling could have been better. What do you think of Kelly's look?
