12th Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards Luncheon

Yesterday afternoon(February 21st) the 12th Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards Luncheon took place in LA.

Regina King struck a pose wearing the L'AGENCE 'Chamberlain' fushion red blazer, with the ‘Nina’ blouse and ‘Samira’ pant in flame red multi stripe. She looks cute, chic with an masculine & sultry vibe.

Amandla Stenberg who was an honoree, wore a power suit and printed shirt from the ELLERY PRE-FALL 2019 collection. Even though the pants needed to be hemmed and the hem got lost in the black carpet, I still like this look.

Kelly Rowland who hosted the event for Essence, could not be missed wearing a KETI CHKHIKVADZE FALL 2018 fuchsia kimono inspired dress, with an belted waist. If I could change anything, it would be those platform sandals. A silver metallic sandals would have been ideal.

Logan Browning was all smiles wearing a MISSONI blue & black strapless dress, featuring a patterned bodice and a fringe skirt. Her dress is inspired by a piece from the RESORT 2018 collection.

Janet Mock continues to serve up style, this time wearing PRABAL GURUNG. Her RESORT 2019 coral plaid dress featured ruffle cold-shoulders and a v-neckline. Her beauty look was flawless, which topped off her look.

Angela Bassett kept it simply cute wearing a GRETA CONSTANTINE dress which she accessorized with ALEXIS BITTAR jewelry an ETRO clutch and CASADEI sandals. My only quibble is the size of the clutch. Something a bit smaller would have been better here.

Kylie Bunbury kept it simply in a white bow detail PAULE KA dress, which was accessorized with STATE PROPERTY jewelry and SOPHIE WEBSTER sandals.
