2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards Day 2

Following Day 1, Day 2 of the 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place on yesterday(September 15th) at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

Lavern Cox gave us a dramatic moment, wearing a ZAC POSEN FALL 2019 black strapless, clock draped gown, with waves of ruffles swirling around this dress in tiers of origami layers. If this looks familiar, that's because Deepika Padukone wore it in pink at the MET gala. This is a refreshing change from her usually fitted dresses, she looks beyond gorgeous here. She dressed up her look with HARRY KOTLAR earrings, a YVAN TUFENKJAN necklace and ANABELA CHAN rings.

Sydney Sweeney stood out in a red strapless MARCHESA NOTTE FALL 2019 mix media, texture tiered gown with a contrasting velvet waist tie. Love the color and the overall elegant presentation of her look. ANABELA CHAN earrings, and a matching lip rounded out her look.

Maude Apatow went the 80's route, wearing a RODARTE FALL 2019 hand beaded tulle and silk organza dress, with an asymmetrical ruffle hem. My only quibble is that I wish the hair was completely off-the-shoulders. CARTIER jewelry and JIMMY CHOO sandals rounded out her look.

Natasha Lyonne is no stranger to wearing unique pieces on the carpet and this RODARTE FALL 2019 ensemble is right up her style alley. Her posing in most of the images were very awkward and this one makes the top comes off as clownish. Her hair should have been sleeker, and pulled away from her face and the pants needed to be hemmed.

Olivia Munn shimmered beautifully in a MONIQUE LHUILLIER SPRING 2020 strapless column tea length dress with iridescent holographic sequins and flowers. From the simple but flawless beauty look, the color of the dress & the fit, she effortlessly nailed this.

Maya Rudolph shimmered as well wearing THE VAMPIRE'S WIFE 'The Cinnamon Belle' iridescent silk-metallic, floor sweeping dress that gathered at the hem. The color is not the easiest to pull off but it works on Maya, especially with that red lip. IRENE NEUWIRTH jewelry and a wavy cut rounded out her look.

Lisa Edelstein looked lovely wearing a J. MENDEL SPRING 2019 mint & yellow strapless flutter bodice tulle ankle length dress. The clutch doesn't necessarily match but it's not a bad look. However I would have loved to see this with white pumps or sandals.
