Entertainment Weekly 71st Pre Emmy Party

Ahead of the big awards show, some celebs stepped out yesterday evening(September 20th) for the Entertainment Weekly 71st Pre Emmy party at Sunset Towers in LA.

Lea Michele stood out in a playful, vibrant red DAVID KOMA feather one-shoulder ankle length dress, with a side split. I think she should have gone with metallic sandals over her black ALEXANDRE BIRMAN pair but she still looked great.

Aja Naomi King went the all black route, featuring a short sleeve lace top and side pocket shorts, which was topped off with black pumps.

Marsai Martin went the power suit route, wearing the A.L.C. 'Sedgwick II' green, cream & yellow double breasted jacket, with the matching split hem pants. The pants really needed to be hemmed but she looked great.

Alisha Wainwright was a colorful beauty wearing the MULBERRY FALL 2018 'Becca' embellished coat, which she accessorized with JENNIFER MEYER jewelry and SCHUTZ sandals. I feel like the dress should have belted at the waist.

Sarah Hyland wore a rich magenta, silk-velvet strapless corset dress from the RASARIO PRE-FALL 2019 collection. In the look book, the dress was shown in black and it was belted at the waist. I actually prefer the dress in magenta and while it sells without the belt, I kinda miss. Nonetheless, she looked great. ANABELA CHAN & LE VIAN rings and TAMARA MELLON sandals rounded out her look.

Lesley-Ann Brandt looked great wearing a STELLA JEAN PRE-FALL 2019 floral jacket with the matching skirt. I love the way the jacket was styled on her. DENA KEMP earrings, DANIELLA KRONFLE rings and MANOLO BLAHNIK pumps rounded out her look.

Joey King's stylist posted her look to instagram and she can do no wrong. She looked great wearing a ULYANA SERGEENKO SPRING 2019 COUTURE white lace blouse and black midi dress. While the dress wasn't belted in the look book, the addition of one worked in Joey's favor. She finished up with MARLI ear cuffs, an OKHTEIN bag, JIMMY CHOO embellished pumps and a complimentary beauty look.

Lyric Ross also chose a vibrant hue courtesy of RHEA COSTA. Her red tier chiffon dress was accessorized with AMMANI & SWAROVSKI jewelry and metallic sandals.

Ariel Winter went the sexy, edgy route, wearing the HOUSE OF CB 'Livia' black vegan leather mini dress. This dress actually looks great on her but the pumps are a snooze. A strappy sandal would have been a better choice.

Faith C. Herman of 'This Is Us', looked adorably cute wearing the TUTU DU MONDE 'Mystique' tutu dress, which was styled nicely with silver metallic ballerina flats.

Folake Olowofoyeku also went the power suit, rocking a printed two-piece from the UNTTLD FALL 2019 collection. The red lip added a color edge to her masculine inspired look. She nailed this.

Hunter King looked lovely wearing the ALLEN SCHWARTZ 'Eden' red floral lace, bustier dress, which was coordinated nicely with red JIMMY CHOO sandals.

Mandy Moore kept it simple in a BRANDON MAXWELL PRE-FALL 2019 black bustier, body con dress, with contrasting gold twisted hoops. JIMMY CHOO sandals rounded out her look.
