'The Politician' NY Premiere

Following her previous promotional outing, Zoey Deutch along with January Jones, Lucy Boynton, Julia Schlaepfer, and Gwyneth Paltrow attended the Netflix premiere of 'The Politician' season one at the DGA Theater last night(September 26th) in New York City.

Zoey Deutch proved once again that red is her hue wearing this RODARTE FALL 2019 beaded lace and silk-chiffon dress. The bow detail waist adding a charming detail to her feminine dress. On this occasion, I am glad that she didn't do a matching lip because she didn't need anything to compete with her dress.

January Jones took a fashion risk, also wearing a RODARTE look. Her SPRING 2020 white crepe & purple sequin peplum top and purple sequin pants, was teamed with black sequin mid-calf boots. This is a tough look to pull off and January is not the right person to do it. Save this for the Rihanna's of the world who has that versatile style to sell it.

Lucy Boynton went with a kohl rimmed eye & a dark manicure, which added an edgy, goth like vibe to her sweet CHRISTIAN DIOR SPRING 2019 COUTURE gown.

Ben Platt kept in simple in a Bordeaux SALVATORE FERRAGAMO FALL 2019 suit and a pink silk, button down shirt. The pieces are great but the overall look is blah.

Gwyneth Paltrow wore a green strapless, floor length wrap jumpsuit from her G. LABEL collection. The DAVID WEBB jewelry kept her look somewhat interesting but it still doesn't excite.

Janet Mock showed off her toned abs wearing a RACHEL COMEY suit. I don't like the gold embellishments on the pants and they needed to be hemmed. Janet has great style but I am partially sold on this.

Judith Light got playful on the pink carpet, sparkling in a BADGELY MISCHKA FALL 2019 gold sequin suit, which was belted at the waist.

Julia Schlaepfer served up a little too much cleavage wearing a PAOLO SEBASTIAN FALL 2019 COUTURE beaded tulle gown. The v-neckline is also too wide on the model but more flattering. Also I feel like this gown would have worked so much better in a tea length version on her.

Jessica Lange suits up as well wearing the GABRIELA HEARST SPRING 2019 'Serge' navy silk-blend blazer with the matching trousers. The blazer featured a fresh water pearl embellished lapel, underlay panel which I wish was visible. However she still looked great.
