Following her attendance at the Academy's new members party, Laura Dern was joined by Greta Gerwig on the red carpet at the 'Marriage Story' premiere during the 63rd BFI London Film Festival in London yesterday(October 6th). They also attended the NY Film Festival premiere on Friday.
Laura Dern chose a sleeveless pale yellow, high neck cocktail dress from the EMILIA WICKSTEAD SPRING 2020 collection. I have a few issues with her look. First, she should have worn her hair completely off-the-shoulders to compliment that high neck but in general, that neckline is not her friend. Lastly, the AQUAZZURA pumps are so boring and predictable. A colored or printed style would have been a better choice.
Greta Gerwig went the all black route, wearing a GIORGIO ARMANI black combed chenille long dress with an asymmetrical neckline. The dress was shown in a ankle length version in the look book but Greta's length was a better route. Her look is just okay for me, I like her better when she is having fun &taking risk with her fashion choices. AQUAZZURA pumps finished up her look.
