Variety`s 2019 LA Power of Women Luncheon

Variety`s 2019 Power of Women-Los Angeles luncheon which was presented by Lifetime took place on Friday(October 11th) at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

Brie Larson who was honored at the luncheon, rocked a ROSETTA GETTY RESORT 2020 red lambskin, belted top with a black sleeveless turtleneck underneath and the matching crop, flare leg pants. I love this ensemble, it's sophisticated with an edgy appeal. A side parted wavy cut and black JIMMY CHOO pumps rounded out her look.

Awkwafina snagged a look from the PYER MOSS SPRING 2020 collection. Her white, cobalt blue & yellow shirt dress was accessorized with a yellow box bag and white mule pumps. For me, I love this on the model but I am not really buying it on Awkwafina. It's not that she looks bad either, it's just not cutting it.

Joey King never fails me and her stylist Jared Eng put the young starlet in another winning look. Her black AZZEDINE ALAIA PRE-FALL 2019 dress was accessorized with a playful red KATE SPADE NY bag which you can see HERE and black studded ALEXANDER WANG pumps which added edge to her look.

Mariah Carey who was also a honoree, wore a black sequin draped neckline dress by PHILIPP PLEIN FALL 2019. Not that it's a bad look but this is exactly what we would expect from Mariah.

Natalie Portman seemed to channel Audrey Hepburn wearing a red mock neck, knit top and black crop pants which she topped off with black flats. This is actually a cute look but very casual compared to the rest of the attendees.

Natasha Lyonne once again turned to GUCCI, wearing a black silk dress, which was adorned with a tie and featured a contrasting white collar & cuffs. While I wish the hair was completely off-the-shoulders, this is still a great look.

Jennifer Aniston came through in another boring but okay look. Her ALEXANDER MCQUEEN pinstripe dress was belted at the waist, with padded shoulders and a draped side panel.
