2019 American Music Awards Wrap-up

The 2019 American Music Awards took place yesterday evening(November 24th) at the Microsoft Theater in LA. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Ella Mai wore a ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER RESORT 2020 navy crystal-beaded long sleeve mini dress which she teamed with ROGER VIVIER sandals.

Billie Eilish wore a custom BURBERRY ensemble with a white hooded top that covered face underneath and coordinating sneakers. This look suits her.

Billy Porter did what he always does and shuts down the red carpet. Rocking a STEPHEN JONES hat and a THOM BROWNE SPRING 2020 ensemble, he was easily my favorite.

Lil Nas X has definitely changed the game and I am always here for his style. He was definitely the most standout male in a custom CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS ensemble.

Chadwick Boseman skipped the red carpet but he posed in the press room wearing a ATELIER VERSACE leather jacket with an embossed Barocco motif, enriched with Swarovski crystals. He layered the jacket with a chain mail t-shirt and lamé jeans. Love how casually cool and edgy he looks. DAVID YURMAN jewelry topped off his look.

Regina King worked her frame in a black sequin ASHI STUDIO FALL 2019 COUTURE key-hole and cold-shoulder gown, with a draped train in the back. The high neck is not working on her here and the key-hole is too wide but this is still not a bad look.

Big Freedia who performed with Kesha, rocking a colorful LIBERTINE ensemble with NIKE sneakers. I swear is make-up is always on point.

Kesha decided that she was going to wear a VERSACE bathrobe with the matching stocking and snake pumps.

Taylor Swift who received the biggest award of the night, wore a custom JULIEN MACDONALD deep green, fully embroidered dress featuring a draped bodice and high-low skirt, with CASADEI thigh-high boots.

Maya Hawke presented in a sheer black tulle and glitter gold gown from the CHRISTIAN DIOR FALL 2019 collection. Definitely suits her.

Dan Levy who was a presented, stepped out in head to toe VALENTINO FALL 2019 and I am here for it. Love the coat.

Jameela Jamil got her sparkle on in a PAMELLA ROLAND SPRING 2002 strapless black and silver sequin embellished gown, while carrying a JUDITH LEIBER bag. That nude panel is slightly bothering me but it was needed.

Kelsea Ballerini sparkled in the same GUCCI FALL 2016 sequin suit that we already saw on Liberty Ross in October 2016, sans the fur cuffs. She looked great but the pants needed to be hemmed.

Shawn Mendes suite up in a PAUL SMITH suit that was probably a couple of sizes too small.

Diplo went the cowboy route which I liked, rocking a MCM suede suit with a black cowboy hat and boots.

Sofia Carson who hosted the red carpet arrivals, sparkled in a FRANCESCO SCOGNAMIGLIO FALL 2019 COUTURE silver one-long sleeve, ruffle sequin gown.

Dua Lipa who was a performer, could not be missed in a bold fuchsia MIU MIU wrap dress, with a draped velvet draped panel. I am not sold on the fabric and a simpler sandal would have been ideal.

Carrie Underwood sparkled in a purplesequin, STELLO draped sleeve gown with GIUSEPPE ZANTTOI sandals which I find to be too heavy here.

Cobie Smulders also got her sparkle on wearing a DUNDAS gold sequin mini dress which she toughen up with a matching blazer.

Jenna Dewan showed off her growing baby bump wearing a GIORGIO ARMANI dress which she accessorized with a GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI clutch.

Katherine Langford wore a RODARTE SPRING 2019 red off-the-shoulders, hand-embroidered tier tulle dress. The matching eye-make-up added edge to her look but I can't say that it works for me.

Christina Aguilera stepped in a white embroidered JEAN PAUL GAULTIER FALL 2017 COUTURE hooded dress, that was belted at the waist. With the exception of the platform shoes, this works on her.

Tyra Banks suited up in a DON MORPHY nude two-piece suit. She looks great but she should have left the gloves out or maybe the hat but not both.

Heidi Klum wore a playful feather and glittery MONSOORI mini dress which she teamed with a black velvet clutch and STEVE MADDEN pumps. This is a bit too tween for her.

Ben Platt wore a COACH SPRING 2020 ensemble which featured a green leather moto-jacket and red plaid trousers. Ben always wears stylish pieces.
