Katy Perry wore a vintage BOB MACKIE from TIMELESS VIXEN. Her black beaded, velvet hooded gown is from 1989 and she looked elegantly beautiful wearing it. 

Billy Porter wore a THOM BROWNE suit which was styled with a MESHIKA hat, PAUME LOS ANGELES jewelry and black boots. His looks always speaks to his personal style and personality. However, I don't think that he needed that choker.

On hand as an honoree, Billy Porter hit the carpet this afternoon(February 6th) at the 2020 Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in LA.

Within the past year, Billy has become a fashion force on the carpet and whether you like his style or night, he always brings his A-game. Wearing a look hot off the runway, he got suited in OFFICIAL REBRAND FALL 2020. 

His navy pinstripe and white embroidered logo, three-piece ensemble was styled with an white turtleneck and white platform boots. For me, I thought he nailed this look as he always does. Dark sunglasses put the finishing touches on his winning look.

Following their attendance at the Critics Circle awards and a movie premiere, Lupita Nyong'o, Salma Hayek, Billy Porter and more attended the 2020 National Board Of Review Awards Gala at Cipriani last night(January 8th) in New York.

Salma Hayek wore a JONATHAN SIMKHAI draped, silver lame dress which she accessorized with a ring handle bag and silver metallic, platform sandals. I think the dress is cute in general but it doesn't suit her and the accessories doesn't work at all.

Billy Porter went the 70's route, rocking a GUCCI logo blazer which he teamed with a printed shirt underneath and white trousers. The burgundy boots helped to tie his whole look together. 

Lupita Nyong'o ditched wearing color for a black sequin CELINE cutout, crisscross halter dress which she accessorized with diamond jewelry. This may not be a wow moment but she does look pretty and her beauty look is flawless.

91st Academy Awards Men

Yesterday evening(February 24th) for the 91st Academy Awards and 2019 Vanity Fair party in LA, the men showed up and a few showed out, style wise.

David Oyelowo was one of the few men that stood out, wearing a custom ETRO green velvet tuxedo, which was teamed with ROGER VIVIER shoes. The suit looks a tad small but I am glad that he stepped outside the box.

Stephan James rocked a custom velvet tuxedo by ETRO as well. Clearly he is wearing the same suit as David but I prefer his because of the color. Also those GIVENCHY white boots are everything. His suit looks a tad small as well but I am still here for it. Also I love that he is wearing a SWAROSKI earring as a pin on the lapel of the tux. DAVID YURMAN jewelry finished up his look.

Shamier Anderson rocked a DOLCE & GABBANA tuxedo, which he accessorized with DAVID YURMAN jewelry and black velvet loafers.
