Following the Golden Brunch and the BAFTA Tea Party brunches, the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday(January 5th) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.
Nicole Kidman in bespoke ATELIER VERSACE red strapless gown which she teamed with HAUNT SINGH one of kind earrings, FRED LEIGHTON jewelry, an OMEGA watch and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals. This may not be a wow moment but I really like the color and she looked beautiful.
Cynthia Erivo who is a nominee, showed off her décolletage in a custom THOM BROWNE embellished, embroidered dress which was accessorized with BULGARI jewelry. I was hoping for something a bit more dramatic but this is a great look.
Priyanka Chopra looked simply beautiful wearing a CRISTINA OTTAVIANA SPRING 2020 pink gown which she dressed up with BULGARI jewelry.
Natasha Lyonne posed on the carpet wearing a custom MOSCHINO black midi dress with ruched bodice and sequin one-shoulder bow detail, paired with a custom black fan-shaped purse. I like the idea of this dress but the side ruching throws it off.
Rachel Bilson wore a BROCK COLLECTION FALL 2019 black and gold embroidered, peplum dress and honestly, she should have never worn this.
Saoirse Ronan wore a custom CELINE crystal beaded slip dress with a draped neckline and a split detail. This is simply but yet pretty. However the fit of the top is off. ATELIER SWAROVSKI jewelry finished up her look.
Reese Witherspoon stayed true to her signature silhouette wearing a white asymmetrical ROLAND MOURET crepe gown. The ruffle panel bodice keeps this somewhat interesting but it looks off because of the creases.
Idina Menzel in PAULE KA SPRING 2020 white gown with an embellished neckline and cape which reminds me of Gwyneth Paltrow's Tom Ford white cape gown. Also it needed to be hemmed an inch or two.
Michelle Pfeiffer did not go the dressy route, wearing a BRUNLLO CUCINELLI look which looks more like a screening/premiere look not the Globes.
Rose Leslie in Elie Saab wore a semi-sheer ELIE SAAB FALL 2019 sage green, long sleeve embroidered tulle gown featuring heart shaped sequin detail. I wish she wore briefs like the model or lined the skirt.
Scarlett Johansson wore a VERA WANG strapless gown which she accessorized with BULGARI jewelry. I don''t like the bodice of this at all and instead of adding the nude panel, the neckline should have been shorten.
Kirsten Dunst turned to her go to designers, RODARTE. A red lip added a extra touch of color to pink semi-sheer ruffle embroidered, lace dress. This dress is so her which is why it works.
Amy Poehler went the simple route as well, wearing a sequin SERGIO HUDSON column dress which was belted at the waist and featured padded shoulders. I would have loved to see her in a suit.
Karen Pittman wore a KHOON HOOI SPRING 2019 color-block feather gown. I am not loving the feathers but she looks pretty.
Julia Butters looked made a subtle dramatic entrance wearing a Mischka Aoki FALL 2019 embroidered tulle gown with flare sleeves and a bow waist.
Rachel Brosnahan wore a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION PRE-FALL 2020 plum sequin and fringe floor length dress. I am glad that she didn't wear the black because that plum color is divine.

Tiffany Haddish wore the GALIA LAHAV SPRING 2020 'Chloe' pink v-neck gown, with a pleated, twist detail bodice. The color is nice on her but this is not my favorite look.
Bell Powley wore a custom MIU MIU periwinkle beaded embroidered, puffy sleeve dress with a ruffle v-neckline and side pockets which she utilized.
Olivia Colman wore a custom EMILIA WICKSTEAD SPRING 2020 raspberry textured cloque. While the sleeves are not the best, this is not a bad look.
Winnie Harlow worked the split on her LAQUAN SMITH navy fringe dress. Winnie's playful piece feels more like a party look but she does look great.
Taylor Swift wore a custom ETRO COUTURE key-hole, silk jacquard gown which she accessorized with LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN heels.

Sofia Vergara presented in a DOLCE & GABBANA burgundy embellished, strapless dress with a matching bag and LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry. This feels very dated.
Beanie Feldstein looked lovely wearing a OSCAR DE LA RENTA black pleated, embellished, off-the-shoulder dress.
Laura Graham wore a red ruffle, one-shoulder dress by BADGLEY MISCHKA, which she accessorized with a matching clutch & sandals. The puckering under the arms kinda those the fit of the voice off.
Jane Levy looked pretty wearing a STEVEN KHALIL SPRING 2020 COUTURE strapeless tulle embrodiered gown. While her dress wasn't lined on the runway, the lining on her dress worked in her favor.
Christina Applegate served up some sparkles in a PAMELLA ROLAND PRE-FALL 2020 black & silver sequin, v-neck dress. The neckline was shorten on her dress but the model does a better job of selling the look.
Kate McKinnon suited up in PRABAL GURUNG PRE-FALL 2020. I actually like this suit but I prefer the model's styling.
Leslie Bibb wore a HONOR FALL 2020 strapless tier gown with an empire tie waist. You would think that the shape would be unflattering but it works.
Molly Sims turned to MARCHEA, wearing a PRE-FALL 2020 gown. Honestly this doesn't feel like a Marchesa gown, I am not sold on the quality.
Rachel Weisz wore a simple TOM FORD black floor length, velvet dress with an crystal embellished neckline. Extra sparkles came via her HARRY WINSTON necklace. This is just okay for me.
Isla Fisher brought some color wearing a MONIQUE LHUILLIER FALL 2020 sangria off-the-shoulder column faille gown with draped bodice and puff sleeve. I am not that sold on this because the top looks ill-fitting and the dress needed to be hemmed about an inch or two.
Shailene Woodley continues her BALMAIN streak into 2020, wearing a custom SPRING 2002 black & navy sequin embellished halter dress with a side split. This actually works on her.
Rooney Mara was on hand to support partner Joaquin Phoenix wearing a GIVENCHY SPRING 2019 COUTURE gown. I think since she lined the bottom, she should have lined the top. But in general, I am not sold.
Billy Porter does what he does best and that's making a dramatic entrance. He wore a custom ALEX VINASH white feather coat, a white button down shirt and trousers. An EMM KUO clutch finished up his look.
