Ahead of the big awards show, the 92nd Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon took place yesterday(January 27th) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Beverly Hills, CA.
Cynthia Erivo led the way wearing a multi-green LOUIS VUITTON SPRING 2020 coat dress and peter pan collar top underneath. I like the retro vibe that I am getting here but I hate the shoes. Ankles up, this look is a win.
Charlize Theron struck a pose in a CHRISTIAN DIOR PRE-FALL 2020 ensemble and clutch which she topped off with a vibrant colored lip and black ankle strap pumps. I almost thought these were gauchos or culottes which I would have preferred. However her look worked for the luncheon, very sophisticated.
Florence Pugh wore a MONSE PRE-FALL 2020 draped orange, silk one-shoulder dress which she accessorized with ANITA KO jewelry and JIMMY CHOO sandals. I can't say that I like the design of the top but in general she's just pretty.
Greta Gerwig stepped out in a red GUCCI ensemble and although it is hard to tell, she is actually wearing green leather pumps which plays nicely off of the red.
Renee Zellweger went the suit route, opting for a TOM FORD black two-piece a black & silver toe-cap pumps. This is simple and classic but I really want to add a necklace or earrings along with a red lip to complete her look.
Laura Dern wore a white ruffle neckline with a red leather OSCAR DE LA RENTA PRE-FALL 2020 dress over it. If I had to nitpick here, I wish that her hair was off-the-shoulder and I wish she left the ruffle blouse out. I would have liked to see this with a basic turtleneck.
