'Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn' London Premiere

Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been on the promo tour for their new film 'Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn' and this evening(January 29th) in London, they attended the world premiere at the BFI IMAX theater.

Jurnee Smollett-Bell who plays 'Black Canary' rocked a sultry, edgy ensemble from the GUY LAROCHE FALL 2019 collection. The black latex, feather hem skirt was teamed with a sheer organza shirt which was layered with a latex bandeau for coverage. This is definitely a departure from her previous style but now that she is working with Law Roach(Zendaya, Celine, Tiffany Haddish, Kerry Washington) I am sure we will continue to see the elevation of her style. I like how she is owning this look.

Margot Robbie chose another look from the DRIES VAN NOTEN SPRING 2020 collection, a black playful feather crop top and a black peplum detail skirt. For a pop of color, she kept the pink satin opera gloves the ensemble was shown with on the runway. The top half of this look works but I honestly don't like this on Margot, mainly the skirt. The creases are bad but that peplum detail looks a bit sloppy.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead was easily my favorite in this ZUHAIR MURAD FALL 2019 COUTURE red gown. The floor length piece which was belted at the waist, featured bow straps, and a silk-chiffon pleated cape in the back. I really like that she place the belt over the silk-chiffon layer because it looks more elegant that way. The dice bag adds a playful touch which topped off her look along with a complimentary beauty look, BONDEYE earrings and EF COLLECTION rings.

Ella Jay Basco looked pretty wearing a custom MEEHEE HANBOK layered dress which was topped off with a complimentary beauty look and a TYLER ELLIS clutch.

AJ Odudu showed some leg in a GALVAN green velvet, split detail dress which was teamed with strappy sandals.

Charli Howard also joined the cast wearing a playful MARK FAST FALL 2019 light blue feather cape dress. In this case, she should have stayed with the runway's styling, which was perfect head to toe.
