Celebrating The Life & Style of Chadwick Boseman

As you may know by now, we lost a legend and a king on yesterday(August 28th) Chadwick Boseman. For me this cuts deep, he is from my home state of South Carolina and I am huge fan of his. I have been following his career since Lincoln Heights and his appearance on Law & Order. Chadwick has been battling colon cancer for four years and through it all, he gave us Marshall, Message from the King, Black Panther, Avengers, 21 Bridges and most recently Da 5 Bloods & the August Wilson play Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. From his huge performances in film, he also gave us memorable red carpet moments thanks to his stylist Ashley Weston. My all time favorite of his is from the 2018 MET Gala. From Givenchy, Etro, Louis Vuitton, Off-White and more, Chadwick did not disappoint when he hit the red carpet. He was a gifted treasure & we were lucky to have witnessed such a talented figure in film and on the red carpet. Sending prayers, love & blessings to you in heaven & to your loved ones. He fought his toughest battle and we didn't even know it. He kept doing what he loves for himself but most importantly, for his fans. We must treat people with compassion because we never know what they are dealing with privately & the way he was bullied about his weight, especially when he gave so much of himself to us, his fans, was disgusting. We can all take a cue from Chadwick because he though he was in for the battle of his life, he didn't complain, he did his job very well and he left a huge legacy behind. You are not suffering anymore and you will truly be missed. Sleep peacefully King. To see all of Chadwick Boseman's red carpet looks through the years, click HERE.
