The Inauguration of President Joe Biden

The Inauguration of President Joe Biden took place this morning and it made way to a new era and change is which is what we need right now. Vice President Kamala Harris has sworn in and their were performances by Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez. Continue below to see the celeb looks from the historic event. 

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden wore a custom MARKARIAN dress and overcoat in a turquoise hue. Love the color and the look in general was beautiful but I do feel like the fit was a bit off. 

President Joe Biden has teamed up with RALPH LAUREN who created his all black look. However I am thankfully that he chose a colored tie. The purple was the perfect, strong choice for his big day. 

VP Kamala Harris also chose the strong powerful hue, purple. Her custom CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS coat and dress made a strong statement and it was a sophisticated choice for our new Vice President. 

Former President & First Lady Barack and Michelle Obama were notably in attendance and I must say, I really miss covering Mrs. O style. She looked fantastic in a burgundy SERGIO HUDSON custom look and her was laid perfectly. 

Lady Gaga sang the national anthem and of course she made a dramatic entrance. She wore a custom SCHIAPARELLI gown which was adorned with the Picasso Gold Peace Dove symboling an ode to the direction we are heading, hopefully. This was definitely an unforgettable, dramatic moment and she looked amazing. 

Jennifer Lopez went site seeing ahead of the inauguration wearing a houndstooth CHANEL FALL 219 coat and matching wide-leg toruses. I love this on JLo, it makes a bold statement in a sophisticated manner. However you may remember that Cardi B wore the coat first.

For her performance at the inauguration, Jennifer Lopez chose another CHANEL look, this time mixing pieces from the FALL 2020 & 2019 collections. I love the winter white look and while this isn't as dramatic as Gaga's but she looks fantastic. If you know JLo's style, then you know she loves to wear a lot of jewelry so it is no surprise that she is wearing all of this CHANEL fine jewelry. She also wore a similar look to her Chanel pieces by Alberta Ferretti. 

Meena Harris the niece of VP Kamala Harris stepped out in a COACH FALL 2020 coat and a ULLA JOHNSON FALL 2020 dress. Sparkles came via her PARIS TEXAS boots. I love those boots, they really spice up her look. 

Amanda Gorman who is a poet & writer was invited to read a poem and she did just that. But it was her yellow PRADA double-breasted matte  toile coat that also caught people's attention. This yellow hue looked fantastic on her and the
