78th Virtual Golden Globes Wrap-up

The 78th Virtual Golden Globes awards took place yesterday evening(February 28th) and even though there wasn't a big red carpet, the celebs still showed up & showed out at home. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up. 

Regina King was one of my top favorites of the night. Her LOUIS VUITTON dress which was accessorized with FOREVERMARK jewelry, fit her perfectly. Kate Hudson also wore a custom LOUIS VUITTON dress which she accessorized with BULGARI jewelry. Kate's dress was off-the-shoulders, belted at the waist with a peplum detail. She looks gorgeous but I'm not loving this as much as Regina's LV look. Look posted by stylist Sophie Lopez

Lily Collins who was a nominee, looked fantastic wearing a SAINT LAURENT BY ANTHONY VACCARELLO SPRING 2020 one-shoulder cutout dress which was accessorized with CARTIER jewelry. The dress was shown in a shorter version on the runway but Lily's longer version was perfect. Her beauty look is always flawless which topped off her look. Andra Day walked away a big winner wearing a CHANEL SPRING 2021 COUTURE dress and jewelry. The color could have easily washed her out but a red lip balanced out her stunning look. 

Anya Taylor Joy give us an iconic moment wearing a custom emerald CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE dress and cape which was accessorized with TIFFANY & CO jewelry. She was easily one of my favorites as well. Posted by stylist Law Roach

Eiza Gonzalez wore a VERSACE PRE-FALL 2021 dress styled with WOLFORD tights and ALEXANDER BIRMAN sandals. The beaded on the bust looks like her dress has it's eyes closed but honestly this dress needed something to keep it from being boring. 

Elle Fanning was elegantly beautiful wearing a custom GUCCI satin draped gown with embroidered crystal brooches. Extra sparkles came via her FRED LEIGHTTON jewelry. The fabric is okay but the color is divine and she effortlessly sold her look. Look posted by Elle Fanning shot by Gareth Gatrell

Isla Fisher could not be missed wearing this ALEX PERRY neon pink dress which was accessorized with VAN CLEEF & ARPELS jewelry and STUART WEITZMAN heels. I like that a red lip was added to her beauty look to play off of this bright color, it worked. 

Jo Ellen Pellman was a colorful beauty wearing the JONATHAN COHEN SPRING 2020 knotted bow gown which was accessorized with BEA BONGIASCA jewelry and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI heels. 

Kiersey rocked a sexy cutout PRABAL GURUNG FALL 2020 dress which was accessorized with BULGARI jewelry and JIMMY CHOO sandals.

Lana Condor looked pretty in a MONIQUE LHUILLIER SPRING 2020 pale blue embroidered tulle dress which was accessorized with JIMMY CHOO sandals. The color is what makes this stand out. 

Sarah Hyland also chose a MONIQUE LHUILLIER dress. On tune with the carpet, she wore a SPRING 2021 red faille draped gown was accessorized with LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry and JIMMY CHOO sandals.

Laverne Cox was on hand as presenter and she looked beautiful in a custom THAI NGUYEN cape sleeve gown which was accessorized with DENA KEMP jewelry. 

Nicola Coughlan wore a dramatic MOLLY GODDARD SPRING 2021 tulle dress which she accessorized with a PLY KNITS cardigan and DE BEERS jewelry. While I dislike the way the skirt is gathered & pleated at the waist, this dress is right up Nicola's style alley and she pulled it off. 

Rosamund Pike chose a similar layered tulle by MOLLY GODDARD as well but from the FALL 2020 collection. She toughen up her dramatic statement piece with ALEXANDER MCQUEEN boots. This is different for her but she seemed like she was having fun wearing it. 

Viola Davis looked gorgeous in this custom LAVIE BY CK off-the-shoulder gown and I love this color combo of this African print on her. Viola wanted to wear a black designer and I am glad that she chose one that is not widely known so that it open doors for this brand and others. She looked beautiful. Kat Graham served up a little leg wearing a ASHI STUDIO SPRING 2021 COUTURE delicate off-white Organza dress with pleated sleeves and center front split. Pops of color came via her red lip and sandals. This dress has a lot going on but it's a fun worthy for the occasion. 

Zooey Deschanel was masked up wearing the AUTUMN ADEIGBO ''June'' paisley print dress. I think the dress is cute and suits Zooey. My only quibbles is that the dress needed to be hemmed an inch or two and even though they are not visible, I would swap out her nude peep-toe, platform pumps for a simpler colored style.
