Billie Eilish ditched wearing a signature loose and over-sized looks for a OSCAR DE LA RENTA nude off-the-shoulder gown. This is a far departure from her usually look and unexpected. It's very 50's inspired but I am not 100% sold on the color.

Kia Gerber wore a black strapless OSCAR DE LA RENTA gown and although she looks pretty, this is boring. She definitely needed a red lip and some sparkly jewelry. Kaia was channeling Bianca Jagger's 1981 gala look.
Anna Wintour wore a custom OSCAR DE LA RENTA FALL 2021 ruffle floral dress which she dressed up with a diamond necklace. The print is not easy on the eyes but I wish that it didn't have that ruffle collar.
Mary J. Blige struck a pose in a gold sequin DUNDAS x REVOLVE thigh-high split dress. I am not feeling the neckline on this but she looks good.
Megan Fox rocked a sexy, DUNDAS x REVOLVE red beaded dress, with a lace-up detail with a thigh-high split. This was the color of the night.
Zoe Kravitz showed some skin in a SAINT LAURENT see-through beaded dress but I feel like I have seen this look before.
Hailey Bieber wore a simple black strapless SAINT LAURENT column dress with a crystal embroidered v-neck. This doesn't excite for me.
Anja Rubik wore a strapless light blue feather and black SAINT LAURENT crystal beaded see-through dress. Her beauty look was simple but pretty but I am not loving this dress at all.
Maisie Williams always wears weird, unique look and this custom REUBEN SELBY ensemble is right up her style alley. I'm not loving this along with those chunky shoes but again, this suits her.

Camila Cabello wore a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION purple sequin dress & boa which is similar to look from the designer's FALL 2019 collection. This would have been perfect for her at the VMA's but I prefer the design of the dress on the runway. That cutout is not working.
Amanda Gorman was one of the co-chairs and she wore a custom VERA WANG strapless, crystal beaded layered dress. Love the color, her makeup and accessories but the dress has too much of a prom vibe though.
Emily Ratajkowski wore a sexy VERA WANG red lace gown with matching gloves. She looked pretty but I think the hair should have been in an up-do.
Sophia Roe looked beautiful a grey floral metallic, cape gown by HALSTON. The chef was paying homage to the late icon Donna Summer and I have to say, the execution was perfect.
Mindy Kaling wore a TORY BURCH belted high low hem dress that looks more store brought than custom. She usually slays but I am not feeling this.
Kendall Jenner wore a GIVENCHY sheer beaded gown with a nude bodysuit underneath for coverage. She looked good but this is giving me deja vu.
Natalia Bryant made her first appearance looking beautiful in a CONNER IVES FALL 2021 colorful bubble dress with a train in the back. The shape of the dress is weird but she worked this look.
Iman definitely came through in a show stopping look by HARRIS REED. I love everything about this from head to toe. The head piece and the whole design was expertly done. FRED LEIGHTON & KWIAT jewelry finished up her look.
Yara Shahidi looked elegantly beautiful channeling ''Josephine Baker'' in this custom look by CHRISTIAN DIOR.
Cara Delevingne also made a political statement wearing a custom CHRISTIAN DIOR ensemble with the words ''Peg the Patriarchy'' on the bodice. This doesn't have impact like most of her looks has had for this gala but I agree with her statement.
Rachel Zegler wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE SPRING 2021 COUTURE printed, pleated gown and although I don't like it, the head styling was on point.
Naomi Osaka is one of the co-chairs this year and a brand ambassador for LOUIS VUITTON so I knew she was wearing a look from the fashion house. LV pieces are difficult and hard to wear. This has drama & edge but I'm not loving it. Kudos to her for rocking a challenging look like this.
Rosalia wore a RICK OWENS red leather fringe coat dress with a train, leather gloves and platform boots. With this exception of the boots, I actually like this.
Kid Cudi wore a custom LOUIS VUITTON SPRING 2022 ensemble and I like that he steps outside of the fashion box. I'm not loving the look but it works for him which is what matters.
Lorde wore a custom look by BODE and stylist Karla Welch said this was an ''ode to the arts & craft of America'' and indeed it was. I am not sold on the silhouette of the dress but the details and the headpiece has impact.
Karlie Kloss was a walking red rose wearing a ruffle CAROLINA HERRERA mini dress with a dramatic train in the back. Love the color but I feel like she needed a simpler clutch and ankle strap heels.

Paloma Elsesser was flawlessly beautiful in a red gown by ZAC POSEN. I just don't like she sheer nude panel on the arm or the bust.
Serena Williams wore a custom GUCCI look but her color-block feather cape is the star here.

Saweetie wore a custom CHRISTIAN COWAN crystal embellished, one-shoulder cutout dress with a flowing cape in the back. For me, this is something that we tend to see her in on a regular basis.
Barbie Ferreira looked divine wearing a custom JONATHAN SIMKHAI look. Purple eye-shadow provided an edgy pop of color to her look while the beaded fringe provided movement.
Maria Sharapova wore a GABRIELA HEARST SPRING 2022 yellow, pleated sleeve dress which was accessorized with a statement necklace. Thankfully she didn't chose the runway's color but I am not feeling this.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made in statement wearing a BROTHER VELLIES off-the-shoulder gown that said ''Tax the Rich'' in red in the back. Her gown is very bridal but I agree with her statement.
Precious Lee wore a custom AREA fringe, structured coat dress and she looked beautiful. But this look very ill-fitting on the bust.
