Loewe at the 2024 Met Gala 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion'

Taylor Russell, Greta Lee, Anna Wintour, Ariana Grande, Josh O'Connor, Ayo Edebiri and Dan Levy wore LOEWE at the 2024 Met Gala celebrating ''Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion'' on Monday(April 6th) in New York City.

Taylor Russell is a fashion favorite of mine, so I was excited to see her in this custom look. I almost feel like the top half and the bottom half should not work together, but somehow it does. She sells it effortlessly. 

Greta Lee chose a white structural strapless gown from the fashion house which was unlined. What I appreciate is that it touched on the theme and always knows how to wear this brand. However, I am not loving the hair and it's not the most exciting piece.

Yesterday evening(June 27th) in London, the 2023 The Serpentine Gallery Summer party was held at The Serpentine Gallery in London.

Diane Kruger wore a custom DAVID KOMA FALL 2023 dress. I feel like the flower choker or the straps has to go because both wasn't needed. 

Andrew Garfield wore a RICHARD JAMES suit which was accessorized with a OMEGA watch and he looked great.

76th Tony Awards

Yesterday evening(June 11th) in New York, the 76th Tony Awards was held at the United Palace Theatre with Ariana Debose on hand as the host. 

Lupita Nyong'o wore an interesting suit by MISHA JAPANWALA. I know we have seen similar tops like this by Tom Ford, Loewe and The Blonds but she is working. Overall, I don't hate it but I am not loving it either. 

Dylan Mulvaney showed off her décolletage in a CHRISTIAN SIRIANO off-the-shoulder, corset gown. Have we seen a similar Siriano gown like this before? Plenty, but it's dramatic and works for the occasion.

Following her virtual appearance at the NAACP awards, Tracee Ellis Ross and more stepped out during Milan Fashion Week for the Bottega Veneta F/W2022 runway show on yesterday(February 27th). The guest were wearing BOTTEGA VENETA of course.

Tracee Ellis Ross looked great in an ensemble from the FALL 2021 collection. The tiered fringe panels on the side look weird in detail but Tracee pulled if off.

Billie Eilish ditched wearing a signature loose and over-sized looks for a OSCAR DE LA RENTA nude off-the-shoulder gown. This is a far departure from her usually look and unexpected. It's very 50's inspired but I am not 100% sold on the color.

Tonight(February 5th) in New York, the 2020 amfAR Gala as part of NYFW took place at Cipriani Wall Street.

Heidi Klum led the way in a strapless STEPHANE ROLLAND FALL 2019 COUTURE duchess satin, draped balloon dress. This is definitely out of her style zone because she usually gravitates towards sexy, tight dresses. I like that she is trying something different but the shape and fabric and is not working for me. STELLA LUNA sandals and a coordinating bag finished up her look.

Gigi Hadid accompanied Virgil Abloh, who outfitted her in a OFF-WHITE masculine inspired look. The hair should have been off-the-shoulder because there is a lot going on here. This a fashion award event but the design is complicated and it doesn't have an beginning or end.

Joan Smalls arrived with designer PYER MOSS, showing off her toned abs in a ensemble by the designer which featured a pink leather crop jacket, with a white bandeau underneath and the matching leather pants.

Anna Wintour in Chanel Couture at the 2018 MET Gala

Vogue's EIC Anna Wintour made her way to the carpet this evening(May 7th) for the 2018 MET Gala, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. 

Wearing CHANEL, she wore a SPRING 2018 COUTURE white beaded embroidered dress which was layered with a sheer white tulle dress and featured a high neckline and cutout shoulders. 

Anna of course modified her dress from the runway version which didn't featured short sleeves and also the dress was shorter. To touch on the gala's theme, she accessorized with a statement cross necklace which topped off her look along with her signature hairstyle.

Anna Wintour in Chanel Couture at the 2017 MET Gala

Anna Wintour hit the white carpet this evening(May 1st) at the Rei Kawakubo Comme des Garcons-Art of the In-Between 2017 MET Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in New York. 

Turning to one of her go to brands, she wore a CHANEL SPRING 2017 COUTURE gold short sleeve sequin embellished floor length dress with a contrasting feather panel and sheer tulle hem. 

Anna's exact dress didn't hit the runway but it was featured in a similar version. I like her modified version which suit her style. Her signature bob with bangs, minimal make-up and a statement necklace finished up her look.

2016 Golden Heart Awards Wrap-up

Last night(October 17th) the God's Love We Deliver hosted their annual 2016 Golden Heart Awards at Spring Studios in New York. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up. All of the guest were wearing MICHAEL KORS. 

Cush Jumbo wore a pink & black printed knee length slip dress styled with a black clutch & sandals. I am not a fan of the fit but I do like the dress in general. 

Cynthia Erivo wore a PRE-FALL 2014 sleeveless black & silver embellished dress. Cynthia's dress was shown in the look book in a calf length but the knee length version works in her favor. However I don't mind the blond wavy wig but I am not sold on the quality of it. A silver clutch & sandals and a colored lip finished up her look. 

Lily Aldridge looked chic & sophisticated in a SPRING 2017 black jewel embellished belted skirt shut styled simply with black ankle strap sandals. Lily's look is similar to Chrissy Teigen's who also went with a minimal beauty look to nail her red carpet appearance.

Anna Wintour & Bee Shaffer at the 2016 MET Gala

Well the 2016 MET Gala has kicked off and this year's theme Manus X Machina-Fashion in an Age of Technology. Vogue's Editor-in-Chief was spotted on the carpet first alongside her daughter Bee Shaffer. 

Anna Wintour wore a CHANEL SPRING 2016 COUTURE white beaded embroidered dress with a contrasting nude feathered bodice and a fringed sleeve & hem. Chanel is Anna's go to brand so this look is no surprise. The fit was perfect on her, however I don't think she needed the diamond necklace. Her signature bob with bangs and white sandals topped off her look. 

Bee Shaffer turned to her go to brand as well, ALEXANDER MCQUEEN. He black velvet long sleeve floral embroidered gown featured a square neckline in the front & back, puffy sleeves and a train detail. Very romantic and elegant, I like.
