78th Venice Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Well the 78th Venice Film Festival has come to an end with the closing ceremony taking place yesterday evening(September 11th) in Venice, Italy. You can relive all the celeb red carpet looks HERE.

Cynthia Erivo led the way wearing a OSCAR DE LA RENTA RESORT 2022 sheer floral beaded, embroidered dress. I am a bit shock that she didn't do anything dramatic for the closing. I think this should have been lined. It's not a bad look but it's not the best from her.

Sarah Gadon wore a VALENTINO RESORT 2022 pink silk-chiffon cutout gown which was accessorized with POMELLATO jewelry and AQUAZZURA sandals. The cutout bodice is not working for me. Remove that and this would be a total win.

Penelope Cruz of course wore a dress by CHANEL. It's the same silhouette that she is always wears and I don't think the clutch or the pumps go here. I am ready for her to switch things up.

Serena Rossi looked pretty in a gown from the GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE SPRING 2021 COUTURE collection. Her blue embroidered gown was layered with a navy tulle panel.

Maggie Gyllenhaal wore a PROENZA SCHOULER SPRING 2022 dress, hot off the designers runway. For this type of red carpet, I say no but the dress in general is right up Maggie's style alley. However I dislike the frayed hem and a more interesting pair of shoes would have been ideal.

Sofia Resing chose it designer brand of the moment, MONOT. Her SPRING 2021 white ensemble was masculine and sexy.

Alba Rohrwacher chose another gown from the CHRISTIAN DIOR FALL 2021 COUTURE collection. I like this flowy, pleated silk gown on Alba. The color is a little dull but it works on her with the help of the red pout.
