2021 Fashion Awards

The 2021 Fashion Awards took place yesterday evening(November 29th) at the Royal Albert Hall in London, marking the event red carpet return since the pandemic.

Gabrielle Union made a beautiful, dramatic entrance wearing a VALENTINO FALL 2021 COUTURE gown with a draped shoulder panel. That lime green hue looked fantastic against her skin. Her makeup was light but flawless and I loved the hairstyle. MESSIKA jewelry finished up her look.

Billy Porter hosted the event and of course he made a fashion statement wearing a custom look by RICHARD QUINN. The houndstooth print might not be easy on the eyes and the exaggerated shoulders a bit weird but this is Billy Porter, he can handle looks like this.

Hailee Steinfeld struck a pose in a custom H&M black and silver sequin, dotted, cutout back jumpsuit with CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps. I like this on her, it's a sexy look.

Winnie Harlow looked gorgeous wearing a custom MONCLER nude quilted ensemble with puffy arm cuffs. I do like this look and the area cuffs might look weird but it definitely makes this look.

Billie Piper wore a light blue draped dress by VIVIENNE WESTWOOD which was styled with white thigh-high socks & silver metallic platforms. This is not a bad look but the fit on the bust looks off and the platforms look a bit heavy with this dress.

Adriana Lima showed a little skin in a two-piece white embellished ensemble by CELIA KRITHARIOTI. The fit of sleeves looks a little too loose but it's simple but sexy look.

Vick Hope wore a custom TED BAKER metallic chartreuse ruffle pleated dress with contrasting black trimming. This is a cute look but I wish that ruffle panel wasn't added on the skirt.

Alexa Chung wore a CAROLINE HU SPRING 2022 yellow dress and no matter what she is wearing, she will always wear flats. The bag and shoes is not working for me here.

Charli Howard seemed to be having a ''Madonna Material Girl'' moment wearing a custom RIVER ISLAND gown with BULGARI jewelry. I like the idea behind this look but I dislike the way the dress sits on her bust and the dark red lip color. I feel like she should have gone with a brighter shade. Also it's kinda bugging me that the accessories aren't the same color as the dress.

Maria Sharapova is wearing a custom IRIS VAN HERPEN COUTURE dress which was made out hundreds of EVIAN water bottles, plus organic silk.

Demi Moore wore a FENDI FALL 2021 COUTURE off-the-shoulder beaded dress with a draped panel in the back. This was a great look and then I saw those hideous pumps.

Dua Lipa wore a custom MAXIMILAN SPRING 2022 choker dress with fingerless opera gloves. I actually like Dua's longer version versus the shorter version shown on the runway. It's a dark but pretty look.

Jenna Coleman wore a light, airy white off-the-shoulder, silk chiffon gown from the CHRISTIAN DIOR RESORT 2022 dress which was belted at the waist. This is a pretty, grecian inspired look.

Kate Beckinsale wore a SABINE BILENKO COUTURE ankle length dress. She looked pretty but it seems like no matter what designer she is wearing, it's always the same look.

Kaya Scodelario's baby bump was hidden under her BORA AKSU SPRING 2022 dress. She pretty but this dress is not. It has too much going on with it.

Laura Bailey wore a CHANEL RESORT 2022 dress and I prefer the runway's presentation.

Leomie Anderson wore a white lace embroidered VALENTINO FALL 2021 dress which hits the bridal border. I kinda wish it was lined though.

Lily Allen wore a FENDI FALL 2021 light blue satin, cutout suit. I don't like the fabric but the suiting general is uniquely cute.

Maya Jama looked so pretty wearing a ALEXANDER MCQUEEN PRE-FALL 2021 red pleated, cutout dress with bow accents.

Maye Musk wore a custom TONY WARD COUTURE red lace jumpsuit and satin pleated cape skirt. The sketch looks so much better than the fitted product. The fit looks really off and those pink heels don't work.

Noomi Rapace wore a AMI SPRING 2022 tuxedo jacket and see-through crystal beaded dress with black pants underneath. There is a lot going on with this look here but it suits Noomi.

Priyanka Chopra wore a floral RICHARD QUINN FALL 2021 ensemble. I feel like this look could work on someone like Rihanna or Lady Gaga. Priyanka doesn't have the edge to sell a dramatic, fussy look like this look.

Pixie Lott was head to toe in SCHIAPARELLI FALL 2021 and despite those weird looking boots, she looked great.

Raye wore a GIVENCHY FALL 2021 lavender floor length dress and there are so many things wrong with this look. I really dislike that we can see her underwear, sleeves are too long, she needed a clutch instead of a top handle bag of that size and she definitely should have kept the necklace.

Tatiana Korsakova showed off her toned abs in a white crystal beaded DAVID KOMA RESORT 2022 dress with a cutout waist. The black version looks so much better.

Cindy Bruna wore a RICHARD QUINN SPRING 2022 ruffle, floral dotted coat with a red ruffle hat. Look, the hat looks like those hats that baby wears. I'm not feeling it but she makes look good.

Ella Balinska also stepped out in a RICHARD QUINN SPRING 2022 piece. I kinda miss that floral insert from the skirt and the top looks tight on the bust but I still thought she looked great.

Gillian Anderson wore a CHLOE SPRING 2022 dress but I actually prefer it in the runway's orange hue. However, the darker hue suits Gillian better.

Jourdan Dunn was on tune with the carpet in a red strapless ANDREA BROCCA FALL 2021 COUTURE gown. I'm not feeling her shoe choice but given the length, it was the right choice.

Poppy Delevingne wore a mint GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE SPRING 2021 COUTURE jumpsuit and cape, accessorized with SAWROVSKI jewelry and RENEE CAOVILLA sandals. The addition of the necklace was definitely needed.

Zawe Ashton wore a EMILIA WICKSTEAD SPRING 2022 green textured dress with the matching two-one shawl and pumps. Love this green hue but once again, we got a case of a tight fit on the bust and I think that she needed a necklace to dress this up a bit.
