Last night(November 1st) in New York, the 2021 WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards which was sponsored by Samsung, Harry Winston, and Rémy Martin, took place at the MOMA.
Ryan Reynolds received is award wearing a grey plaid, three-piece suit by DOLCE & GABBANA which he topped off with brown dress shoes. The pants are look one size too small but I like his look.
Lil Nas X who was an honoree, rocked a THOM BROWNE black ensemble and accessories. I like his style because he doesn't play by the style rules, he keeps things fun and interesting all the time. This is great.
Emily Ratajkowski wore an off-the-shoulder KHAITE RESORT 2022 ruched dress which looks great on her but the accessories don't coordinate together or with it.
Meadow Rain Walker wore a JASON WU COLLECTION SPRING 2022 red off-the-shoulder taffeta dress which was worn in a gown version by Diane Kruger. I get where she was going with the pink accessories but the execution fell flat.
Demi Moore wore a velvet FENDI RESORT 2022 suit which I like but I miss the belt. But in general the fit is really off. The sleeves are too big and baggy, and I wish the pants were tapered & hemmed better. Also I would swap out those almond toe shoes for pumps.
Imaan Hammam was my favorite, she looked beautiful wearing this BRANDON MAXWELL RESORT 2022 pink dress. I kinda miss the cape but she still looks good without it.
Jordan Roth never plays by the style rules either and good for him. I can't say that I am loving this THOM BROWNE SPRING 2022 muscle dress in general but he is a risk taker and this is right up his style alley.
