28th Screen Actors Guild Awards

Following the NAACP awards, Kerry Washington, Ariana DeBose and more attended the 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica yesterday evening(February 27th). Check out some of the celeb looks before they hit the red carpet.

Kerry Washington looked stunning in a yellow strapless gown from the CELIA KRITHARIOTI SPRING 2022 COUTURE. From the color to the flawless beauty look, she was easily my top favorites of the night. MESSIKA jewelry and STUART WEITZMAN sandals finished up her look.

Saniyya Sidney looked beautiful wearing a ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2022 off-the-shoulder gown with a cape waist. The color looked amazing against her skin and I love that her beauty look was kept simple but I do feel like she needed a necklace. Credit her stylist Alexandra Mandelkorn.

Caitriona Balfe
stood out beautifully in a red SAINT LAURENT SPRING 2022 deep v-neck dress which was dressed up with VAN CLEEF & ARPELS jewelry. Credit her stylist Karla Welch.

Jada Pinkett Smith was on-hand to support hubby Will Smith who was nominated. She noted o the carpet that her GARETH PUGH FALL 2013 gown was a piece that she purchased years ago and never wore. It was a dramatic piece and the necklace was definitely needed. However this feels a bit overwhelming on her.

Reese Witherspoon stuck to her signature style, wearing a custom SCHIAPARELLI SPRING 2022 COUTURE dress, accessorized with CARTIER jewelry and JIMMY CHOO pumps. I am glad that the white satin, waist panel was swapped out for blue because it made her LBD standout more. However even though she looked pretty, this had a prom like feel to it.

Jean Smart showed a little shoulder in a custom CHRISTIAN SIRIANO gown. Siriano is always going to deliver for his clients and this was a great look for Jean. Love the color. Credit her stylist Micah Schifman.

Hailee Steinfeld wore a black beaded, cutout dress by MIU MIU. Hailee has switched stylist again which is not a bad thing because this is a great look. I just dislike that side, swoop bang.

Marlee Matlin looked pretty in a custom LAFAYETTE 148 black & white satin, hand beaded embroidery dress and bag.

Venus Williams worked her custom DOLCE & GABBANA dress which was accessorized with GISMONDI 1754 jewelry and STUART WEITZMAN sandals. Generally speaking, she looked great but I don't really love this piece. Credit by her stylist Law Roach.

Lisa Kudrow wore a DOLCE & GABBANA pink single-breasted suit accessorized with DAVID YURMAN jewelry and BADGLEY MISCHKA pumps. You can tell that this look is in Lisa's style comfort zone. It's a sophisticated business look in a striking color. Credit her stylist Penny Lovell

Sandra Oh wore a CAROLINA HERRERA PRE-FALL 2022 silver metallic gown with a green clutch by ROGER VIVIER. For me, it's the hair. Something sleeker & off-the-shoulder would have been better. Also I think a necklace should have been added.

Juno Temple turned to her go to designer brand, wearing a gold chainmail dress from the ATELIER VERSACE FALL 2021 COUTURE collection. The dress is cute but I dislike the padded shoulders. Credit her stylist Erin Walsh

Vanessa Hudgens looked so beautiful in this custom ATELIER VERSACE dress and a gold clutch & sandals. Love this mint hue and check out her dog down below on the right. Clearly he/she was loving her look as well. CHOPARD jewelry finished up her look.
