Following their attendance at a photocall, Jodie Turner-Smith, Raffey Cassidy, Julianne Moore and more attended the 79th Venice Film Festival opening ceremony & the ''White Noise'' premiere this evening(August 31st).
Tessa Thompson is one GIORGIO ARMANI's newest brand ambassador's so it is no surprise that she chose a look from the designer's collection. She wore a PRIVE SPRING 2009 COUTURE two-tone strapless, peplum dress which looked better on her than the model. Tessa has a knack for rocking and pulling off unique pieces.
Madisin Rian also wore GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE but her black strapless, velvet gown came from the PRIVE FALL 2012 COUTURE collection. She looked beautiful.
Greta Ferro nailed her GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE FALL 2016 COUTURE black sheer & velvet beaded, peplum gown.
Barbara Palvin is a long time GIORGIO ARMANI brand ambassador so naturally she wore a look by the designer. She looked great in this PRIVE SPRING 2019 COUTURE black sequin dress.
Melanie Laurent also wore GUCCI and I'm not loving what I am seeing here. The color doesn't look great on her and the green embellishments doesn't compliment it. This was not a good look.
Mariacarla Boscono showed some skin wearing a JEAN PAUL GAULTIER SPRING 2022 COUTURE sheer black dress and she should have worn the corset as well.
Alessandra Ambrosio showed a little leg wearing a ERMANNO SCERVINO FALL 2022 pink silk-chiffon dress with the matching cape. This is cover-up for her and I like it.
Elisa Sednaoui wore a dress from the ERMANNO SSCERVINO FALL 2022 collection as well. I think she should have kept the opera gloves.
Zion Moreno worked her custom PHILOSOPHY DI LORENZO SERAFINI mint green, silk-lurex dress. The idea of the dress is cute but the neckline it too low.
Grace Elizabeth wore a custom ALBERTA FERRETTI strapless white draped chiffon bustier gown and the diamond choker enhanced her look.
Pixie Lott kept it simple but cute, wearing a EMPORIO ARMANI red ruffle panel, jumpsuit with pockets which she utilized. I feel like some sparkly, diamond earrings could have made this more exciting.
Julianne Moore wore a VALENTINO RESORT 2023 sheer black, sequin embellished dress with the matching cape. I think the problem here is that this doesn't suit Julianne in any way. I like that she is stepping outside the box but it's not working. Maybe she should have lined it.
Raffey Cassidy wore another VALENTINO FALL 2022 COUTURE dress. I don't know these feather hem mini are a tough sell because they look more like figure skater or dancing costumes. It does look better on her than the model but I'm still not 100% sold.
