Paris Fashion Week S/S 2023: BoF500 Gala

On Saturday(October 1st) the BoF500 gala took place as part of Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023 collections in Paris, France.  

Deepika Padukone wore a LOUIS VUITTON RESORT 2023 ensemble which I like. I just wish that she wore different shoes because those platform Mary Jane's don't work here. 

Paloma Elsesser looked gorgeous wearing a MARNI SPRING 2023 center front split, leather dress and pumps. I am not sold on the shoes but everything else looked amazing. 

Aweng Chuol wore a ALESSANDRA RICH SPRING 2023 black velvet, crisscross halter dress. This maybe a spring piece but it flows perfect into the current season.

Ellie Goulding made a rare appearance wearing a CAROLINA HERRERA SPRING 2023 floral strapless, dress and black boots. Love the dress in general but the problem with it, is the neckline. 

Jasmine Tookes looked beautiful wearing a ELISABETTA FRANCHI FALL 2022 black cutout embellished dress. The dress was shown in green which Jasmin could have easily pulled off but she slayed the black as well. 

Charli XCX wore a JEAN PAUL GAULTIER FALL 2022 COUTURE structured mini dress. I want to like this on her but it's not working for me. I would definitely swap out the ankle strap pumps for sandals but I'm just not sold on the dress for her. 

Ashley Graham wore head to toe SCHIAPARELLI SPRING 2022 and even though the dress is bit over-designed, she looked great.

Hari Nef wore a brown leather mini dress from the LOEWE FALL 2022 collection. This could have worked for her but the problem is the color of the dress.

Coco Rocha wore a dramatic, STEPHANE ROLLAND FALL 2022 COUTURE two-tone ruffle gown. The cutout detail is a distraction and doesn't really work here. 

Jourdan Dunn wore a PATRYCJA PAGAS dress. Yes the dress is a bit over-designed but Jourdan is a model and she worked for what it is.

Karlie Kloss was sparkling in a ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER dress. Love her brown hair color and the red lip which topped off her look.

Sam Hine posed with Ella Emhoff and their looks somewhat complimented each other. Ella's SIMONE ROCHA SPRING 2023 has too much going on, especially with the sneakers. Sam rocked a DRIES VAN NOTEN SPRING 2023 stripe suit which looked great on him. I kinda wish the pants were a bit more tailored but I still like this for him. 

Precious Lee showed some skin in a MUGLER black sheer illusion catsuit with CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN sandals. Her look is sexy and too revealing but she is selling it. 

Kylie Jenner also wore a look by MUGLER. This black lace piece has too much going on and the white panel doesn't work for me. From the pictures that I saw, she seemed to like this look.
