The Business of Fashion BoF 500 Class of 2024 Gala took place during Paris Fashion Week S/S 2025 collections at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris on Saturday(September 28th) in Paris, France.
Jared Leto VALENTINO RESORT 2025 and I am loving the coat which is the star here. The scarf is giving 'Pirated of the Caribbean', but it doesn't look bad on him.
Following the her appearance at a previous show, Jennifer Lopez attended the Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 show as part of Paris Fashion Week today(January 24th) in Paris.
Wearing ELIE SAAB of course, she wore a custom SPRING 2024 COUTURE green silk-chiffon pleated gown and flower cape which was shown at the show in a different color-way. I honestly think that ribbon bow in her hair doesn't suit her nor does it work with her look here.
That green hue is a tough sell but it doesn't look totally bad on her. However, I prefer how it was presented on the runway with a shorter flower cape and with a grey gown underneath. Also, the neckline on JLo's gown is too wide. I'm just not totally sold on her look here. Which version do you prefer, JLo's or the runway's?
The Schiaparelli SS-2024 Paris Fashion Show took place to today as part of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and the celebs arrived wearing SCHIAPARELLI of course.
Jennifer Lopez wore a white coat which was made of 7,000 real rose petals, that was kept fresh and alive by sugar water, also known as hummingbird nectar. Hear me out, I love the idea behind this look and the coat is definitely impactful. However, I don't see JLo as a ''Schiaparelli Girl'' because of her very sexy style. I don't think this is a bad look though but the hair and the glasses are especially not working for me. It comes off as if she is trying too hard in the face and she doesn't have to because she's JLo.
Zendaya made a dramatic entrance wearing a black ankle length dress with a draped, train detail in the back. I wonder how she sat down in this thing. I feel like this is more of an editorial piece or maybe for a move premiere. However, it's Paris fashion week, and this is what it's all about. But there are too many detailed elements that are competing with each other here. Also, it looks like a ponytail on her butt. However, kudos to her because what makes her the style star that she is, is that she takes fashion risk and somehow she made this over-designed piece work. CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps finished up her look.
Following his attendance at he BOF gala, Usher and more attended the Chanel S/S 2024 runway show which took place at the Grand Palais Ephémère today(October 3rd) during Paris Fashion Week. All of the guests were wearing CHANEL of course.
Emilia Clarke wore a SPRING 2023 COUTURE blue, black & white tweed embroidered skirt suit. This is probably not her best look but it's not bad either. She definitely needed an off-the-shoulder hairstyle.
Anya Taylor-Joy a black shiny leather, belted jacket with black crepe shorts. I kinda wish the shorts were leather as well.

Cardi B sparkled beautifully in a gold sequin dress. This was her first couture run and it's safe to say that she didn't disappoint.
Lily James wore a simple black v-neck dress which was belted at the waist. This wasn't a bad look but the styling made it a snooze. A more interesting pair of shoes and jewelry could have enhanced this.
Cardi B slayed per usual wearing a custom look from the fashion house. Is her look off-season? Yes but it's couture fashion week and she served us with a look, worthy for the moment.
Big Latto wore a sheer purple, black & white embroidered, 3D organza dress. Her beauty look is flawless but she almost looks like she is a superhero and I don't mean that in a bad way. I guess it's the way that she is posing but overall, she looked gorgeous. I'm sold.

Kerry Washington wore a mint cashmere sweater and a satin side split skirt. I feel like the black tights and the black CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps are too heavy with this delicate hue but I don't think it's a bad look. Also, the color looked great on her.

Cynthia Erivo wore a white dress & studded coat, accessorized with a nude clutch and black platform boots. I would swap the boots out for gold heels but other than that, she looked good.
Emma Stone made a rare appearance and even though the jacket is a bit boxy, it looks good on her. I am not feeling the uneven skirt though.

Maude Apatow stood out the most wearing a floral, crisscross halter jumpsuit which was belted at the waist and pumps. I wish that she wore those pumps in red but other than that, she pulled this off.

Wearing OFF-WHITE naturally, she stepped out in a SPRING 2022 salmon pink ruched leather, mini dress. She kept warm in a coordinating shearling coat. The top is sitting a little low on the bust but I am here for her pregnancy style.
She is keeping things consistent, rocking looks that she would normally wear. Whether you are a fan of her style or not, she is always having fun with her fashion choices and showing versatility the right way. A statement necklace, a CHRISTIAN DIOR bag and strappy sandals put the finishing touches on her look.
