Following the nominee party, Angela Bassett, Naomi Ackie, Eddie Redmayne, Michelle Yeoh and more attended the 76th EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) at Royal Festival Hall yesterday evening(February 19th).
Angela Bassett looked beautiful wearing a custom PAMELLA ROLAND gown which was accessorized with BOUCHERON. This lavender hue looked fantastic on her and even though the sleeves are the problem here, Mrs. Bassett is somehow selling it to me.
Jodie Turner-Smith knows how to sell these difficult GUCCI gown and she did just that with this creation. The color looked amazing on her, the jewelry enhanced her look and her beauty look was flawless as always.
Danielle Deadwyler looked elegantly beautiful in this GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE SPRING 2023 COUTURE gown. Love the color combo and kudos to her stylists for making sure there weren't any creases or wrinkles on her gown.
Eddie Redmayne wore another ALEXANDER MCQUEEN suit, this time from the FALL 2023 collection. I like the idea but I don't think this works for him.
Cate Blanchett re-wore her 2015 OSCARS MAISON MARGIELA black fringe gown. I love that she re-wears looks, I just wish that it was more interesting and updated styling.
Viola Davis sparkled beautiful in a purple sequin, cape sleeve dress which was custom made by STELLA MCCARTNEY.
Ariana Debose wore a FENDI FALL 2022 COUTUE see-through beaded dress with a bodysuit underneath. I can't say that I am loving this on her.
Lashana Lynch also wore FENDI but her periwinkle cape gown is from the label's SPRING 2023 COUTURE collection. Love the color but not the quality.
Hayley Atwell wore a CONG TRI FALL 2022 two-tone gown. The creases are unfortunate but I don't like the design of the top.
Michelle Yeoh was a sophisticated beauty, suited in CHRISTIAN DIOR FALL 2018 COUTURE. I don't like the chandelier earring though because I feel like they are a bit distracting. Also, the pants are a bit stiff.
Nicole Coughlan never disappoints, she looked lovely wearing VALENTINO SPRING 2022 COUTURE white floral embellished gown.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore a ALAIA SPRING 2023 black bodysuit and a cutout velvet skirt. She effortlessly pulled off this sultry ensemble and I am glad that she changed the bodysuit.
Sophie Turner wore a black lace embellished dress by LOUIS VUITTON and I thought she looked great.
Ana de Armas also wore LOUIS VUITTON and I like this pink shade. However, I am not feeling the ruffle detail on the bust.
Gwendoline Christie looked so gorgeous in this custom GILES DEACON gown. The fashion marriage between these two always ends with good results.
Carey Mulligan wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE gown. The neckline kept it somewhat interesting but I don't think it was enough for this to be memorable.
Lily James gave us the first look from TAMARA RALPH's new collection, formerly of Ralph & Russo. I am not really a fan of the neckline but I like the drama that it gives. I am excited to see more from Tamara.
Naomi Ackie wore a LOEWE white strapless gown with a silver mirrored, peplum detail. I love this, she was simply beautiful.
Catherine Zeta-Jones looked beautiful wearing a TONY WARD SPRING 2023 COUTURE glittery purple and yellow tulle one-shoulder gown, with an organza cape flowing in the back. CHOPARD jewelry & SARAH FLINT sandals completed her look.
Catherine the Princess of Wales wore a white one-shoulder silk-chiffon gown by ALEXANDER MCQUEEN that is giving me deja vu. The black leather opera gloves shouldn't have been styled with such a delicate gown. Also, the gold earrings doesn't compliment the tone of the gown. The styling was a let down.
