Academy Women's Luncheon

Yesterday afternoon(November 9th) in LA, the Academy Women's Luncheon which was presented By Chanel, took place at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. All of the guests were wearing CHANEL.

Lupita Nyong'o wore a PRE-FALL 2023 tweed shorts suit. The shorts are a weird length but it works so much better on the model because of the styling. Unfortunately, it's not working on Lupita. 

Molly Gordon also wore a PRE-FALL 2023 piece. Her checkered tweed mini dress looked great on her along with the accessories. 

Riley Keough wore a SPRING 2023 COUTURE tweed skirt suit and I'm not loving this on her. The drop waist skirt doesn't look flattering on her and it doesn't have a youthful appeal like it does on the model. 

Sadie Sink wore the same purple RESORT 2024 tweed sleeveless top that we first saw on Lupita Nyong'o in July 2023. However, I love how it was styled on Sadie. Her casual chic vibe was a win. 

Lily Rose Depp wore a pink tweed, skirt suit along with accessories. It's giving Cher from ''Clueless'' vibes and it works for her. 

Maude Apatow wore a tweed jacket with the matching romper. I feel like the stockings and the pumps make it matronly. 

Eva Longoria wore a tweed jacket which was styled with a sequin top and wide-leg trousers. I don't really like the sequin top with the tweed jacket and the pants needed to be hemmed. Love her bob though. 

Director A.V. Rockwell kept it simple but sophisticated in an all black ensemble with accessories from the fashion house. 

Kristen Stewart made a rare appearance, wearing a FALL 2023 jacket with wide-leg trousers. This look suits her but I feel like she needed a fitted tank or bandeau underneath the jacket. 

H.E.R. rocked a FALL 2023 tweed mini dress and the addition of the belt helped to balance out her look. I don't really like the boots but they kinda work. 

Leslie Mann wore a FALL 2023 printed long skirt which she paired with a white sleeveless, button down shirt. Although I would have liked to see this with a black top, the white shirt made it more interesting. 

America Ferrera wore a FALL 2023 tweed cropped jacket with leather pants. I like the idea of her look but those pants don't look great on her. 

Ashley Park wore a FALL 2023 tweed skirt suit and the overall styling comes off a bit too mature. Also, the choker wasn't needed. 

Greta Lee also wore a FALL 2023 look. She looked so chic and sophisticated from the waist up. I'm not sure what's going on with the bottom.
