Yesterday afternoon(November 9th) in LA, the Academy Women's Luncheon which was presented By Chanel, took place at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. All of the guests were wearing CHANEL.

Lupita Nyong'o wore a PRE-FALL 2023 tweed shorts suit. The shorts are a weird length but it works so much better on the model because of the styling. Unfortunately, it's not working on Lupita.

Stella McCartney x Adidas Party

Yesterday evening(February 2nd) some celebs stepped out for the Stella McCartney x Adidas party which was held at the Henson Recording Studio in LA. All of the celebs were wearing STELLA MCCARTNEY of course. 

Kate Hudson is beautiful no doubt but I am not feeling the SPRING 2023 skirt suit on her at all. The over-sized blazer is not working on it, it has so many creases & wrinkles and the asymmetrical skirt doesn't look great.

'Welcome to Marwen' LA Premiere Wrap-up

Along with Gwendoline Christie, Diane Kruger, Leslie Mann and Janelle Monae attended the 'Welcome to Marwen' premiere at ArcLight Hollywood in LA yesterday evening(December 10th). 

Diane Kruger recently gave birth to a baby girl she snapped back quickly. The actress looked great in a RALPH & RUSSO FALL 2018 COUTURE semi-sheer lace & velvet panel asymmetrical dress. ANNA SHEFFIELD jewelry, an AMANDA PEARL clutch & GIANVITO ROSSI heels finished up her look.

Leslie Mann for the second time in a row, turned to ZAC POSEN. She wore the designer's FALL 2018 dotted mermaid gown. While she looks great in the gown, the hairstyle doesn't complement that.

Janelle Monae showed some leg wearing a WOLK MORAIS FALL 2019 graphic print  jacket & skirt in her signature hues. She is giving me urban, Navajo vibes and I prefer this over her previous look. Also love her flawless beauty look which was accessorized with a black felt.

Early this morning(December 6th) Leslie Mann, Danai Gurira, Christian Slater & Terry Crews announced the 76th annual Golden Globes nominations at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. Leslie Mann wore a ZAC POSEN FALL 2018 pink silk cocktail dress, featuring an asymmetrical neckline and a pleated skirt. The orange pumps takes this look up a notch.

Danai Gurira is wearing another look from the EMILIA WICKSTEAD RESORT 2019 collection. Her lime  green one-shoulder ankle length dress featured a side tie and a cutout waist. She finished up with CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN sandals and a flawless beauty look.

On Saturday(November 10th) Leslie Mann attended the 2018 Baby2Baby Gala, presented by Paul Mitchell at 3Labs in Culver City, CA.

Last night(October 18th) the 2018 amfAR LA gala took place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

Victoria Justice stood out the most wearing vibrant AADENVIK SPRING 2019 neon green tier dress which she accessorized with APM MONACO jewelry and a silver clutch. 

Katy Perry almost always takes a fashion risk and this look was no different. She wore a custom ALEXIS MABILLE FALL 2018 light blue feather embellished gown. This reminds me of something very similar that we have seen on Beyonce by a different designer. 

Kat Graham wore a black DSQUARED2 ruffle gown which was teamed with LANVIN accessories, sheer black gloves and statement earrings.

Jennifer Meyer Palisades Village Store Opening Celebration

Yesterday evening(October 17th)  Jennifer Meyer celebrated her first store opening in Palisades Village at The Draycott in LA with Gwyneth Paltrow and Rick Caruso. Guest were wearing JENNIFER MEYER jewelry. 

Molly Sims wore a SILVIA TCHERASSI layered floral dress which she accessorized with a small clutch and red velvet STELLA LUNA sandals. My only quibble is that I wish her hair was off-the-shoulders but this is a cute look. 

Leslie Mann wore a JONATHAN SIMKHAI PRE-FALL 2018 long sleeve rust, fluid satin keyhole midi dress, with a gathered sleeves, an asymmetrical hem and a belted waist. While I don't like this color on her, I do like the but not with those boots. 

Rachel Bilson wore a MADEWELL leather jacket and a PHIILOSOPHY DI LORENZO SERAFINI SPRING 2018 colorful stripe dress. Her look was accessorized with JENNIFER MEYER jewelry, a DANSE LENTE bag and VANS sneakers.

Chanel Our Majestic Oceans Benefit Dinner

On Saturday(June 2nd) evening the Chanel Our Majestic Oceans Benefit Dinner, for the NRDC took place at the home of Kelly & Ron Meyer in Malibu, California. All of the guest were wearing CHANEL.

Sofia Boutella wore a RESORT 2018 black long sleeve pleated maxi dress with contrasting black & gold tweed pipping and side pockets which she utilized. I like this dress on Sofia and while this isn't a wow look, this is a great one. 

Priyanka Chopra looked great in this ivory tweed SPRING 2018 cap sleeve jumpsuit. However I can't get on board with those bridal pumps. A complimentary beauty look and a chain strap bag finished up her look. 

Jennifer Aniston naturally wore something black. Her PRE-FALL 2018 look featured a crop tuxedo jacket with a black top underneath and black wide-leg trousers. I prefer the runway presentation but it would not have worked on Jennifer.

Leslie Mann has been promoting her new film 'Blockers' and yesterday evening(April 3rd) she attended the premiere at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, CA.

Coordinating with the red carpet, she wore a red & orange blossom strapless ZAC POSEN FALL 2017 hand beaded embroidered midi, A-line dress.  

On the beauty end, she went with a red lip color and center part waves. However a sleeker, off-the-shoulder hairstyle would have been ideal. Red velvet ankle strap sandals finished up her look.

Allison Janney has been serving up some winning looks this awards season and she came through with another one. She wore a J. MENDEL red dress which featured a long sleeve, v-neck floral lace embroidered top and a hi-lo hem detail. ARA VARTANIAN jewelry, a SYLVA & CIE ring and STUART WEITZMAN sandals finished up her look. 

Keesha Sharp stepped out in a RAMY BROOK black v-neck dress. Her look is so forgettable, even with the red lip and jewelry. Also the fit on the bust is off. She is beautiful this look is a miss for me.

Olivia Munn who hosted the show, wore a PRADA red halter, column dress with an embellished neckline. The detailed neckline is what keeps this dress somewhat interesting. NIWAKA jewelry, LOUBOUTIN heels and wavy tresses finished up her look.

Mary J. Blige who is celebrating her b-day, wore a custom VIVIENNE WESTWOOD iridescent strapless gown which featured the designer's signature bustier, draped bodice and train detail. I like the dress but not the fit of the bodice.

Gal Gadot also wore PRADA. Her silver metallic pleated halter dress featured a plunging neckline, a crisscross strap, cutout back and a black embellished waist. Straight off-the-shoulder tresses and a pink lip color finished up her look.

On hand as a presenter, Leslie Mann was on the carpet this evening(February 26th) at the 89th Annual Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in LA.

The actress stepped out in a yellow ZAC POSEN PRE-FALL 2017 silk-faille gown with a tie detail bodice and a dramatic full pleated skirt.

I liked Leslie in this gown and you can tell that she liked it as well by the way she moved on the carpet. On the beauty end, she went with center part waves and a complimentary pink lip color which topped off her look.

Naomie Harris served up a great look as always wearing a MONSE SPRING 2017 citrine sequin & black trim split detail long top with ankle length trousers underneath. This is very Emma Watson and I like it. FRED LEIGHTON jewelry, an EDIE PARKER clutch, black pumps and straight off-the-shoulder tresses finished up her look. 

Amy Adams wore a satin lapel MAX MARA suit with a see-through lace bralet underneath. I can't say that I am crazy about the length of the pants on her but this is not a bad look. 

Margot Robbie wore a white long sleeve CALVIN KLEIN COLLECTION v-neck floor length dress. The creases are unfortunate but I don't think this is a great look in general and the make-up feels a bit heavy. TIFFANY & CO jewelry finished up her look.

Leslie is never one to do anything interesting with her hair or make-up so it is no surprise to see her with her signature straight tresses and a simple colored lip. Playing off of the hues on her gown, she topped off her look with green ankle strap sandals.

2016 Hollywood Film Awards Wrap-up

Well we are inching into awards season and yesterday evening(November 6th) the 2016 Hollywood Film Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. To see all of the red carpet looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Natalie Portman worked her baby bump in a black long sleeve THE ROW knee length dress with a square neckline. Her look doesn't excite but I do like her side parted curls.

Leslie Mann stood out here in a sleeveless JENNY PACKHAM orange organza ombré gown with crystal studded floral appliqués. For balance, she added a dark red lip to her beauty look. I like the dress but I can't say that Leslie is selling it to me.

Bryce Dallas Howard worked her frame in a MUGLER black long sleeve crepe fitted dress with cold shoulders and sheer black velvet leopard panels. I like the dress but a better shoe choice could have elevated this look. However she is not selling it to me.

Alison Brie, Leslie Mann, Dakota Johnson & Rebel Wilson at the How To Be Single London Premiere

Continuing on the promo tour, Alison Brie, Leslie Mann, Dakota Johnson and Rebel Wilson hit the rainy pink carpet at the How To Be Single premiere at Vue West End, Leicester Square yesterday evening in London.

Alison Brie worked a light blue DAVID KOMA RESORT 2016 long dress with a slight curved lace-up split detail. Allison's dress was featured in black in the look book but I am glad she chose this color which worked for her. Instead of going with a strappy heel, she opted for CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN black peep-toe platform pumps. Side parted waves and a colored lip completed her look. 

Leslie Mann brought her umbrella on the carpet to keep her REEM ACRA black sheer tulle dress with colorful floral embroidery dry from the rain. For an extra pop of color, she added a orange lip and fuchsia suede pumps. Straight off-the-shoulder tresses completed her look. 

Dakota Johnson was perhaps my least favorite here. She wore a custom gold lame MARC JACOBS v-neck dress with ruffled shoulders. With so much fabric at the hem of course it got a bit wet in the rain. CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA gold platform sandals, a ponytail with bangs and a colored lip completed her look. 

Rebel Wilson wore a THEIA cadet blue petal v-neck gown with a hi lo hem detail. I would have loved to see Rebel in a simple ankle strap sandal over her silver mesh pumps. The rain appears to have messed up her curls but I wish she went with a sleek off-the-shoulder style.

Leslie Mann, Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson & Allison Brie hit the red carpet yesterday evening at the 'How to be Single' premiere at the Skirball Center of Performing Arts in NYC.

Leslie Mann wore A MARCHESA SPRING 2016 two-tone cocktail halter dress which featured a black lace top and a blush feathered skirt. Her look was accessorized with an AMANDA PEARL clutch, LOUBOUTIN black sandals and a IRENE NEUWIRTH jewelry. I am not sure how I feel about this dress on Leslie, I want to like it but I can't. I think it's the color.

Dakota Johnson wore a SAINT LAURENT nude star embellished v-neck long sleeve gown which she styled with FRED LEIGHTON jewelry, a JUDITH LEIBER clutch and a JIMMY CHOO heels. While this is not a total bad look, I don't particularly like this color for her. Also I am not sure if it was meant to be that way but the sleeves are a tad too long.

Rebel Wilson wore a custom TORRID red long sleeve fitted dress with sequin side panels. Keeping on tune with the tone of her look, she paired red CASADEI pumps with her dress.

Alison Brie wore a strapless black MONSE SPRING 2016 mini dress with an dramatic bow detail in the back. You may remember that Jaime King wore this last year in white. Instead of going with a strappy sandal, she opted for black ankle strap JIMMY CHOO pumps. A sleek up-do and a smokey eye completed her look.

Leslie Mann hit the carpet at the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel this evening in Beverly Hills, California.

Turning to one of her go to brands, she wore a MONIQUE LHUILLIER PRE-FALL 2016 pink gown that featured loose cap sleeve top and a layered tulle embellished ball skirt. 

For me, I don't like the top of the dress on the model and I don't like it on Leslie either. It's the shape of it. A TYLER ALEXANDER clutch, BRIAN ATWOOD heels and a statement necklace finished up her look. What do you think of Leslie's look?
