49th People's Choice Awards

On Sunday(February 19th) the 49th People's Choice Awards was held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

Ariana Greenblatt was one of my favorites in this BALMAIN SPRING 2024 mini dress. Ariana was in the movie ''Barbie'' so it is no surprise that her look was inspired by it. Love this from head to toe.

Alexandra Shipp wore a MONOT PRE-FALL 2024 white lace-up top and maxi skirt. I thought she looked great, but her look called for jewelry.

America Ferrera wore a COACH FALL 2024 ensemble. I can't say that I like this look but it comes off better on America than it did on the model. I just think a necklace was needed.

Coi Leray wore a ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER SPRING 2023 COUTURE ensemble. Love the fur, but not the quality or fit of the dress. Also, she probably should have worn the runway's sandals.

Billie Eilish wore an over-sized ensemble perusal courtesy of AMBUSH. I think the probably here are the proportions which are off.

Halle Bailey dipped into the ROBERTO CAVALLI archives for this FALL 2003 creation. She definitely should have worn a choker or necklace, but this still was a great look.

Heidi Klum wore a two-tone choker mini dress with a ruffle bow train in the back from the KAMILLA PURSHIE SPRING 2024 collection. I like this on Heidi, I just think that she needed an off-the-shoulder hair style and a simple ankle strap sandal.

Katherine Hahn wore a RONALD VAN DER KEMP SPRING 2024 COUTURE black sequin & white satin panel dress. I'm not sold on the white draped panel on the waist and the white trimming on the split opening doesn't look good.

Kylie Minogue utilized the split on her RAISA VANESSA FALL 2023 green strapless, metallic dress with CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN sandals. I don't like the fabric and the head styling doesn't compliment it.

Lucy Hale wore a vibrant red CHRISTIAN DIOR SPRING 2008 red strapless draped dress. She definitely needed a necklace here, but this probably should have been saved for a bigger occasion.

Rachel Zegler wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE dress. She looked pretty in this dress but once again, a necklace was needed. Also, the bodice should have been lined.

Sydney Sweeney wore a custom MONOT red dress, but just like most of the other looks, a necklace was needed. However, the fit on the bust looks off and I think an inch needed to come off the hem.

Ice Spice took it back to the 90's with this custom DOLCE & GABBANA look. However, I am still not a fan of it.

Xochitl Gomez dipped into the GUCCI archives for this FALL 2017 creation. I applaud her for always taking fashion risks, but I feel this was a bit too much for the occasion.
