'Sophie's Choice' 40th Anniversary NY Screening

On Tuesday(February 6th) a special evening honoring Meryl Streep and the iconic film she starred in ''Sophie's Choice'', was held at The Museum of Modern Art in New York. LANVIN hosted the event and dressed the celebs in attendance unless otherwise stated. 

Cate Blanchett wore a AZ FACTORY PRE-FALL 2024 ombre denim suit which I like. Instead of wearing the belt, she opted to dress her look up with LOUIS VUITTON jewelry. I actually miss the belt because I feel like it would have added more balance. I don't mind the jewelry, but I kinda wish that she wore sleek pumps. 

Claire Danes wore a black belted, tailored jacket and she carried the ''Melodie'' hobo bag which I love. The jacket was a great look, but I wish she wore the tailored pants. 

Meryl Streep who stars in the film from 1982, wore a black double-breasted jacket and instead of wearing the trousers, she opted for a skirt. I actually prefer the skirt. She looked great. 

Sarita Choudhury wore a FALL 2023 dress which kinda looks like she has her skirt pulled over her blazer. She's pretty, but I am not feeling the design. 

Uma Thurman wore a black double-faced cashmere which I like. I don't know if it is because of the way she has her hand in her pocket or what, but the coat looks a little too tight on her.
