On Sunday(December 8th) the 27th annual British Independent Film Awards took place at The Roundhouse in London, England.
Saoirse Ronan looked simply elegant wearing a ERDEM FALL 2024 sapphire blue, crushed organza cloqué jacquard draped gown.
Sophie Okonedo wore a LOEWE SPRING 2025 ensemble. I like how she always takes risks, but I am not feeling this. The pieces don't translate well together off-the-runway.
Alicia Vikander wore a custom LOUIS VUITTON RESORT 2025 green sequin, ruffle panel dress. Alicia's custom version actually looks better than the runway version. I just don't think that ruffle panel across the front was needed.
India Varma wore a BORA AKSU SPRING 2025 black and white layered dress which probably should have stayed on the runway. Although, I have to admit, I like India's styling better.
Lucy Boynton wore a CHANEL SPRING 2025 printed ensemble which I kinda like. I wish the top was styled the same way on Lucy as it was on the runway.
Mia Mckenna-Bruce wore head to toe CHRISTIAN DIOR RESORT 2025 and it comes off as cosplay. I am glad that she left the gloves out though.
Maria Bakalova utilized the pockets on her SELF-PORTRAIT FALL 2024 strapless navy and white, polka-dot dress. Although, I don't mind the red lip, I would have liked to see her with a pink lip color. It's still a great look though.
Olivia Colman wore a black satin DOLCE & GABBANA FALL 2024 tie-neck dress which was accessorized with ALEXIS BITTAR jewelry and ROGER VIVIER heels.
Ellie Bamber wore a PRADA gold & mustard yellow jacquard dress which she offset with a dark red lip. The shape of the skirt looks a bit weird to me. I am sure it's supposed to have that puffy detail on the waist, but it's not working.
Mikey Madison showed off her décolletage in a vintage CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE by JOHN GALLIANO black lace gown from ARALDA VINTAGE. I feel like she needed black underlining.
Jessie Buckley wore a VIVIENNE WESTWOOD SPRING 2025 white split sleeve ensemble which she offset with a vampy beauty look. I can't say that I am loving what's going on with the top half. It's a bit too fussy.
